Experienced piano teacher for 20+ years, available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation in their playing skills. I specialize in teaching as early as 3 yrs old, I typically use different methods of teaching, no specific curriculum, it depends on students' personality, cognitive development, age level. I use online piano games & teaching tools to help students develop the habit of practicing with more fun.

I do recitals at least twice a year, & that includes Community Recitals, Students participates to different programs & festivals sponsored by CAPMT District 1, National Federation of Music Clubs & Music Development Program by Royal Conservatory of Music to assess their knowledge, skills & abilities.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Ms. Sally for a year and a half now and it is great to see her progress. Ms. Sally is very knowledgeable, patient and easy to talk to. She encourages you to stay and watch during practice so you are aware of what is being taught.

I chose Sally to teach my granddaughter the fundamentals of piano playing and she's done a amazing job . I have to commend Ms. Sally on her knowledge and patience on her teaching ability. I would highly recommend Ms.Sally to any of my friends and or relatives

Sally has truly been the most wonderful instructor! I started taking lessons a few months ago with her. I played piano when I was younger but I wanted to get back into playing before my twins arrive. I am almost 8 months pregnant at this point and Sally has been kind, compassionate and so helpful in helping me remember the piano skills I didn't know I had in me and haven't used in many years. She challenged me, taught me things I never learned when I was younger and helped me improve across every lesson. I'd highly recommend Sally as a piano instructor for all ages and skill levels and I look forward to working with her again in the future!

I have been playing piano since I was 6 years old! I love to work with beginner students and give them the tools to be a great piano musician. It's also very energizing for me to work with intermediate students to hone your skills. I focus on proper technique, basic music theory, and a wide variety of repetoire, all while having fun together! I cant wait to help you learn to play.

I typically begin students on the Alfred Music Library, and then move to more classical repetoire, supplementing with pieces or genres that the student has interest in!

Typical lessons will include warm ups (scales, arpeggios, other techniques to warm up the fingers), working on repetoire (may include folk songs, broadway/disney, pop, worship), music theory (note and rest values, key and time signatures, interval recognition, ear training, note recognition, etc.)

Materials that students will need are a piano/keyboard of their own, two lesson/recital books recommended by me, and a theory book.

About Brittany

Brittany is an accomplished pianist with much experience in performing. Brittany is available for beginner and intermediate student piano lessons. She has been playing piano since the age of 6, and has received 2 years of formal training at the collegiate level. Brittany focuses on having fun, all

Brittany works patiently, yet challenges my daughter to perfect her skills. She gives encouragement during the lessons. I usually clean my kitchen during lessons, but I'm able to hear the lesson being taught. I can hear the smile in Brittany's voice when my daughter learns to do something new.
Kathy
Brittany is a talented, patient musician. I am a 50+ year old woman that took lessons many years ago and started up again with Brittany last summer. I instantly felt comfortable with her, and am not only learning about notes, and fingering but also about theory. She's awesome & I'm learning so much.

Cristina has a great blend of warmth, knowledge and discipline that works well for my 6,7, and now 8 year old son. I highly recommend her."

"Up to me: i think one of the best advantage that he could explain complex things in rathe simple, understandable way (on fingers). I've learned memorized scale modes at the end! by his suggessions. Responsive at allmost any reasonable time. Quick feedback on any question. Democrative price. And of cource - to my mind you learn music by yourself and you should trust your instructor and then make the tasks, because nobody cancelled the one of the golden rule : No pain, no gain."

"Wow. I've always felt a little guilt for never picking up an instrument and I'm glad I finally fell through and contacted Francesca a couple months ago. She's amazing. There's been a few times where I've been overloaded with work, haven't practiced, or needed to reschedule and she's been incredible at finding a solution for each of these inconveniences. Francesca's Music Studio; incredible! You really get into the "zone" when you're in there and the atmosphere definitely sets that mood. As for her teaching style; I feel like she understands a persons particular "vibe" and teaches accordingly. There's been a few times where I've been high energy and she's matched that energy to where we have a great lesson; and there's also been times where I've been low energy, and she still finds a way to motivate you without over doing it and becomes a great lesson. I'm still new, but there hasn't been a time I've left thinking "I wish I never came". Not once! If you're apprehensive about taking that next step, don't hesitate and just contact Francesca. You won't regret it. Thank you Francesca for everything! See you soon"
