Quinton works primarily with beginner to intermediate students putting an emphasis on grammar in a fun and interactive way. After living in South Korea for two years Quint realized that grammar structure was one of the main sticking points that made learning Korean so difficult for English speakers. As a result he uses these practices to help students take their language study to an entirely new level.
Quinton has studied multiple languages ranging from Portuguese and Spanish to Mandarin, Korean and Vietnamese. As a native English speaker himself Quint has learned skills and techniques to explain Grammar in a simple yet relatable way for other English speakers. Quint’s philosophy is that the most effective way to learn a language is to have fun with it by talking about the things that spark your interest rather than dry lessons that can cause you to lose interest. I came to USA at age of 15 and learned English in Mid-West most of my life. I love using idioms in both language. In Korean up-to-dated direct translation of "you're welcome" is "what?" why? because they meant "oh no what are you talking about? don't mention it"
Let's learn the language while having fun. Take a lesson from me.

Johan is great with kids! My son is a very active child, and he was able to make the lesson fun and engaging. More than that, I enjoyed seeing Johan be creative, listen to the child, and make music fun, more than being it a lesson (per say). I highly recommend Johan!
