About Brandon
My students are guided along a comprehensive artist development experience that consists of voice development, stage presence, songwriting and finishing school.

I've been a songwriter/vocal producer for 20 years having written songs for The Backstreet Boys, Trey Songz and more. I've studied the art of "voice" for 15 years having trained under some of Michigan's most prominent voice teachers.

My best of both worlds background led me to construct the "5 Phase Singing Method" that has been a huge hit with all my clientele.

Notable students include Diamond White, a top 5 finalist on X Factor, Jibreel Mawry from Motown the Musical, and the 2016 Ford Fireworks Super Singer winner, Brianna Seaborn.

About Emily
I have been playing/totally nerding out about the bassoon since I was twelve years old. It is a world I have been in love with since, and I am absolutely thrilled at the opportunity to share the same experience I've had with people of all ages.

I'm currently a freelance musician working with professional orchestras and opera and theatre companies based in Central Illinois and Eastern Michigan. My Bachelor of Music is in Bassoon Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University, and I hold the Master of Music degree in Bassoon Performance from the University of Michigan.

I am passionate about chamber and new music. I have played in several chamber music groups, some of them being very experimental, often employing the use of interactive lighting for the hearing impaired. In 2016, I spent a month in Kyustendil, Bulgaria playing in grou
ps coached by members of the Bulgarian Radio Symphony. I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity working with other musicians to provide new experiences to all.

Hey! I'm a junior viola performance major at the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. I started playing violin when I was 8 years old, switched to viola at 13, and the rest is history!

As a teacher, my values are being able to play with physical ease, building a connection with the music you are playing, and producing beautiful, ringing sound. Ideally, our lessons would take place at the music school building in the practice wing. I want the student to love the music that they are playing, so our repertoire choices will always be carefully thought through together. I have lots of experiencing teaching children with zero music experience but am also totally comfortable teaching higher levels including intermediate and high school.

About Jared
Hello! My name is Jared Barringer. I was born and raised in the Lynchburg, Virginia, area where I fell in love with music. In Kindergarten I started piano lessons, and in 2nd grade I started trombone lessons. I had a passion to play both instruments in various capacities, including church, school, local gigs, and my local community youth symphony. I attended and graduated from college at Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO. While I did not pursue a music degree, I had the opportunity to be involved in my church's worship band, and be in several different recruiting bands and singing groups for my college. I played the bass guitar and sang at dozens of different churches, youth camps, conferences, and events across the country to promote and recruit students for my college. In 2014 I moved to Michigan to start my career as a W
orship Pastor at a church. As a Worship Pastor, I am involved weekly in music planning and performance in my church. I love playing music with other people. In addition to my job as a Worship Pastor, I enjoy teaching music lessons in my home. Please contact me if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you!
