We are expecting a girl, we're calling her Faith, any day now!!! We moved here to Idaho in February of 2010 from Las Vegas, Nevada, and fell in love with the place we now call home, and recently moved to Nampa where we hope to build a future. Joshua H. Boise, ID

I've been teaching for 10 months and in my experience as a piano student, I've discovered that the best way to learn is to enjoy what you're doing and feel encouraged about the subject. I will work with the student on material that he/she wants to learn. I intend to acknowledge the hard work of the student and avoid making the student feel like a bad. My goals as a teacher are to achieve the goals of the student and encourage the student to push the goal farther, if he/she wants to do so.

About Joshua

However, I'm advanced at the piano and have been playing piano for almost my whole life, since I was 6. I really enjoy teaching little kids and enjoy teaching more advanced individuals as well. Last year, I taught a 5-year old named Zack, my 10-year old sister, and her best friend, Katie, who is 11. I also gave informal lessons to a freshman in high school. My professional piano background is like this. I started accompanying when I was in 6th grade with the homeschool Christmas plays that my mom would write. My senior year, I accompanied my high school choir on a song here and there and also accompanied the Cascade Community ...
