Had my first lesson with Courtney and she was very enthusiastic about teaching! She was patient, thorough, and well organized with her instructions and provided a good foundation to build upon. I'm looking forward to future lessons as she has motivated me to enjoy the therapeutic sounds of the guitar. I'll also likely take piano lessons following the guitar. I would highly recommend Courtney!

When my son was just starting trombone almost three years ago, we happened to meet Mark and set up lessons for my son. Mark was a great mentor to a beginner trombonist -- able to both connect with someone just starting as well as model what a great trombonist sounds like. My son is still playing, enjoying the instrument, and hasn't had as good of a tutor since Mark moved away.

I took lessons from Mark to help prepare for my audition to minor in music. He helped me improve my tone and helped perfect my audition piece, and with his help I passed the audition and I am now a music minor at Georgia Southern University!

I took lessons from Mark as a young middle school student and it led directly to my being selected for the GMEA All-State Band and overall made me a much better musician. He was friendly and attentive and I looked forward to lessons with him. It was my first experience with private lessons and it made my at-home practice more productive when I had specific things to practice for lessons. He worked with me on my GMEA etudes in addition to the fundamentals which made me a better trombonist, and we often played duets which was fun and helped me advance as well.

Reia D.

Hinesville, GA

About Reia

Welcome!

Thank you for stopping by. I began an adventure many years ago that changed my entire life. It was the adventure into the world of Music.

I began piano lessons at the age of 7. Thi
s led to playing the piano and organ for churches (their services and choirs of all ages).

I also played the clarinet in the Jr. High School and High School bands. I even marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.

While I love accompanying others, over thirty-five years ago I discovered an even more rewarding opportunity. I began teaching piano, music theory and music history. It's a pleasure to share with others and watch them experience the joys that music brings.

I invite you to join me in this adventure. There's no telling where it will lead YOU!
