This is a great lesson study for anyone who wants to sing(experienced or not).
Beginners would learn to approach their voices as instruments through breathing and use of their diaphragm. All classes would develop their ears through special exercises and harmony. More advanced singers the emphasis would be on stylings and nuances. I also try to develop them as an artist. All lessons are customized to the prospective students in addition to being a lot of fun. I've been teaching voice for about 15 years now.
About Paul

My love of singing began in my freshman year of high school, when I joined the choir. It was a life-changing experience, and inspired me to make music my career. I immediately began taking private voice lessons, and became a voice teacher myself by 2005. While in college, I was presented with many opportunities to learn and grow, both as a musician and as a teacher. I sang in several different collegiate choirs, and was nominated to be in the all-collegiate choir in 2007. I also passed yearly auditions to sing in Voices Only, Lindenwood's most advanced vocal group. During my junior and senior years at Lindenwood, I worked as the assistant director of Voices Only. This was a wonderful opportunity, and I learned so much while leading warm-ups every day, running sectionals on a weekly basis, directing the group during rehearsals and even during performances when the director was away. I currently sing in the Saint Louis Harmony Chorus, one of the top 25 women's barbershop choruses in the

Thanks Gfire"

He is fun and mega talented. What I appreciate is his patience and natural ability to make me feel like his best friend. I am about to step into a new world! 😍"

He is vibrant, encouraging, and gives great examples (and often humorous) examples to help better understand working the voice.
In just my very first lesson, he pinpointed huge holes in my singing that I never even noticed before in recordings of myself, and attuned each exercise specific to my needs.
I'm looking forward to improving with him!
(and he definitely deserves all five stars)"

Unlike most other musical instrument, your voice is something that you carry with you everywhere! This is perhaps why many beginners are less likely to consider how their practice space should be set up, and why they have more trouble with performances. Practicing singing is just like any other kind of practice, whether for music, the arts, or a sport. You have to establish a space where you can focus on what you're doing with the least number of distractions. Knowing how to practice will take …
