Ear training is something that is very important for any Musician. This is an area that has proved to be something I excel at teaching, due to my having perfect pitch. Many people think that you can't learn to sing in tune,but this is a drastic misconception. I've had quite a few students with challenges in this area, that have gone on to have wonderful singing careers.

Ear training is a critical and valuable music skill to help one develop into a well rounded musician. I teach ear training using the classical training methods I learned at Juilliard. We study intervals, chords, scales, and work on singing simple melodies. I use fixed do solfeggio.

Sang in choirs for more than 10 years. Experienced at playing guitar and piano by ear, and learning songs by listening as well as reading written music. Experienced at teaching how to apply music theory and ear training exercises to learning songs.
