About Joe
I absolutely love teaching music! After over 20 years of teaching, performing, writing, and recording in all styles/genres, it continues to be a great adventure. It is a joy to pass this on to others...especially seeing my students that never touched the instrument going on to be very proficient

Experienced music teacher with nearly 10 years experience teaching students of all ages and abilities from beginner to advanced. I also have experience teaching music to students with special needs, including autism and total vision impairment. I begin accepting students for guitar at age 8 and teach students up to age 99+. For students younger than 8 who wish to learn guitar, I start them on a ukulele which is much easier for very young students to handle. With lessons from me, you'll learn to read music and understand tab, develop your ear for hearing music (ear training), music theory, and technique with a goal of getting you playing your favorite style of music in the quickest time possible. I can teach you to play whatever style you wish. I can even help you learn to compose your own music! To accomplish that, I use a variety of learning aids and games to assist you in learning to read music and understand the deeper concepts of music theory. I taylor my teaching style to each ...
About Elizabeth
I grew up in a musical family. My mother was a piano teacher for 20 years, and my father could play any instrument he decided to pick up. From as young as I can remember, music was always surrounding me. I came to love it in all its forms and styles. I began playing piano when I was a little girl,

My students have spanned every age, experience level, and walk of life through the years... Some wanted to join a band, some wanted to go on to music school, some were aspiring songwriters, and others were simply interested in an awesome hobby! I've been teaching acoustic guitar for over 13 years and teach a mix of playing technique, music theory, ear training, as well as working on songs and styles of playing that the student is interested in. Along with my teaching experience, I have plenty of stage and studio experience as well which allows me to bring those things to the table. More real world and less dry and academic you might say...

I have developed a standardized, systematic approach to guitar instruction based on the belt system used by traditional martial arts. As students progress through the ranks, they are awarded different color “belts”. Beginners are white belts. The next level is yellow belt. Orange is next followed by red, purple, blue, and finally a black belt! I use pre existing text books so that the learning material is organized and easily accessible. I have had great success with my methods and my system makes the learning a lot more fun. I can also customize lessons for intermediate to advanced students who need to focus on certain key areas and can also prepare students for college entrance auditions. Group classes are available in special subject such as theory, note reading and advanced harmonic and melodic concepts. I am an energetic and enthusiastic instructor who insures that students enjoy their learning experience while being able to gauge their progress toward their personal musical ...
About Billy
Most of what I do as an instructor stems from my frustration as a student. I am convinced that the way I was taught to play music on the guitar is NOT the best way to learn it. I have spent a great deal of time developing my own methodology and feel as though I have a much better way to convey info

Hello! I have been teaching guitar for over 7 years now. Form beginners to advanced students I make it my duty to find the students interests and help them develop their own sound. As a Berklee College of Music graduate I have studied composition and music production, skills that I am happy to teach any student. In addition to teaching guitar my students have the option to learn music theory, as well as recording and mixing original compositions that we develop together in class and as homework assignments (DAWs - Logic & Protools). My specialities include Blues, Classic Rock, Jazz & electronic beat production.
About Farrokh
I have been playing guitar, piano, bass, ukulele and drums for 11 years now (teaching for 8 years). As a teenager I started playing all kinds of music and quickly became obsessed. At the age of 21 (2013) I went to Berklee College of Music where I studied guitar, composition and music production fo

I'm not young, and I'm hard to teach music theory to, but he was patient, and is helping me figure a way into learning important stuff that I find kinda dry and not fun to practice. (I'm a good player, but music theory is very challenging to me.)

Ahmad was recommended to me by a co-worker but prior to discovering him I researched a few other instructors. Ahmad seems to be quite generous with his time and fees compared to other instructors I researched. He is also very flexible when it comes to teaching venue and will teach at your house if desired.
Based on my experience over the past two years I can highly recommend Ahmad Lee if you are looking for guitar instruction."

I so enjoyed my lesson last night. When I leave your home I feel empowered by what I have learned. Playing together last night and counting the beats together was awesome even though I made several mistakes. I recognize the chord changes I need to continue to work on in the song. For me I think it is helpful to play the song through even if I make a few mistakes rather than stopping and starting over. I will continue my work on the open string chords and continue to work on our song. Your Great Tim, I really mean that. Looking forward to a week of practice and seeing you again next week!"
