I love music, and it should be fun, exciting, and entertaining!

Guitar is the first instrument I learned to play starting from when I was 12 years old. I have taught many students how to play guitar from the ground up!

My teaching method starts with what you want to learn to play. That's what it is all about, right? Learning the songs you want to play becomes a vehicle for knowing more about guitar.

For beginning guitar, it is best if we can meet in person so I can see your hand position and posture in detail.

I have been teaching acoustic guitar for over 13 years. Curriculum is student-specific but in most cases will include chord theory, strum patterns, fingerpicking, songwriting, and soloing.

As a music producer, mix engineer and artist, I understand the need for proficiency as well as the artistry. My approach to teaching is customized to each individual as we are not all the same. I pay close attention to how each person learns and work with what the student can excel in. When needed we will do drills or work on theory or break down your technique to overcome any obstacles. With my industry expertise, I can help you become a proficient musician and help develop your style and artistry.
