With each one of my students, I take into account how much time they are willing to practice, what genres interest them, and what learning style works best. I then come up with a structured lesson plan that is specifically catered to their needs.

I specialize in beginner/intermediate level basics, with rock and blues genres specifically. I focus extensively on the topics of improvisation and on developing your personal voice on the instrument, along with solid, natural technique.

My approach to learning songs is not just being able to play a song, but to understand why it works, and how you can translate the things you hear into techniques and ideas you can utilize in your own songwriting.
