My two sons (ages 8 and 6) have been taking ukulele lessons with Nick Russo via Zoom for about 5 months. I have been very impressed with the lessons in every way. He is teaching them ear training, reading music, and technique on the instrument. He is clearly an extremely talented musician, and he is an amazing teacher (I am speaking here as a teacher with many years of studying music in my background). He is able to hold their focus for the entire lesson and redirect them if needed; he breaks the lessons into small chunks to keep them engaged throughout; he mixes music they know with pieces he’s chosen so they are always excited about what they are playing; and he is always positive and patient with them.

"If you're thinking about taking lessons from Ahmad, do it. For years I thought I just couldn't play the guitar. I tried learning online, but nothing stuck. I even took a group class, which was better than trying to learn online, but I still wasn't satisfied.
