Emily received 12 years of formalized training including 4 years of specialized instruction of the Alexander Technique at The Master's University. Consequently, she brings a comprehensive approach to cello instruction, utilizing knowledge of muscle and joint function to her teaching. Aside from using her talents weekly in a contemporary band setting, she also enjoys ensemble work in other capacities. She has performed in a commercial for the Porsche Panamera, a short film for EMD films, has recorded at Capital Records, and has had the pleasure of being the featured musician at various weddings, business functions, and private events. Emily hopes to not only train up talented musicians, but to also encourage responsibility, perseverance, and enjoyment through music!
