I am a recently retired university professor with 37 years' teaching and research experience in organic and bio-organic chemistry at two major U. S. State universities. During the past 18 years I have served as an MCAT General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry content contributor by providing "units" (passages + questions based on passage content) to the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), the agency that produces and administers MCAT. I currently tutor students worldwide by using interactive Skype and Google Hangouts with screen sharing. The screen sharing feature permits chemical structures, formulas and reaction mechanisms to be drawn onscreen in real time during tutorial sessions. All visual materials produced in this manner are saved as jpg files and sent to students as email attachments at the conclusion of each tutorial session. In addition to one-on-one tutoring, Students are provided with study and review materials, practice problems and sample exam ...
About Dr. Alan

He is extremely knowledgeable in general chemistry, organic chemistry and biochem. He also knows how the MCAT exam is designed and written. He is a great source of information.
Furthermore, he prioritizes making sure his students understand why certain answers are wrong or right. He is very detail oriented and really wants his students to understand the material.
Dr. Alan tutored me online, and shared his screen with me while working out chemical reactions and problems. He then saved all of that work and emailed it to me, so I could refer to it later.
Dr. Alan definitely tries to provide his students with the resources to succeed. He sends his students extra practice as well as power points and tutorials on information that he knows is tested on the MCAT.
I am very glad I contacted Dr. Alan, because he is a very dedicated caring teacher, and he really wants his students to do well. I would recommend him to anyone who needs some guidance on the MCAT!

Having recently gone through the college admissions process, I am familiar with all of its steps. I consider my admissions process a successful one because I attended a university that had a 7% acceptance rate in my admissions cycle and was accepted into a nearly a dozen institutions.
I would love to share my expertise with the next generation of university applicants by reviewing resumes and editing essays for high school seniors and by advising course/extracurricular selection for younger students.

I love teaching, and I love Math. I've been preparing students to succeed in Elementary Math for the past 5 years and my students have master the subject. I specialize in online lessons. I use the student's book or my own materials. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!
I love teaching, I can teach you at where you at and take you where you need to be. I only need a student with the desire to learn and to practice. I like to help students realize they have the intelligence and ability to solve the problems on their own, they just need the right direction. Nothi

My name is Myreah, but you may call me Mya. I'm no teacher. I'm no instructor. I'm no professor. Nope, too serious! I'm just a silly wife and mom of eight who homeschooled three of her sons and got them moved from special education to regular ed classes in less than a month... They are now back to attending school in a physical setting. I have an autistic son who is in first grade, thriving, and at the head of his class. I also have twin sons who are in 3rd grade. They have special physical and mental challenges due to being delivered via an emergency C-Section three months before their due date. Despite their challenges and struggles since birth, they are now eight-years-old and doing really well in school. Their teachers have no concerns. I took my boys who still could not read or count in first grade due to challenges to now reading (& at a nice pace), writing ...

Interested in learning how to write a haiku? In this article, you'll learn about the rich history of haiku poems, and get to take a stab at writing your own. The haiku style actually originated from tanka, a short poem with a 5-7-5-7-7 syllable rhythm. Tanka was originally practiced by Japanese noblemen and Buddhist priests. During the 9th-12th centuries, writing tanka became a game called "renga," where one person wrote the first three lines of the poem and another person wrote the next t …
