I have been playing guitar for 6 years. My lessons start with the student learning all the parts of the guitar and how to hold the guitar. We then learn usually on the second lesson how to read TAB. After a few lessons getting proficient at TAB we will move onto chords.
We learn a lot about the actual theory behind guitar. With my class you should virtually know the theory behind instruments and could figure out other instruments afterwards. Throughout all of it you will learn how to play guitar and you could be proficient in just few months.

Got the quarantine blues? Nowhere to go - nothing to do? Let's rock! There couldn't be a better way to spend your time than playing the guitar. It is beneficial to your mind and soul, and can lead you in many positive directions in life. My goal is to help cultivate excitement in my students, and to keep learning fun and interesting. We will focus on what it is that gravitates you to the guitar, and break down what you will need to learn to gain the freedom you are looking for. My aim is that you will always continue to pick up the guitar on your own out of the joy of playing, instead of feeling like you have to. The guitar doesn't have to be a rigid instruction, it is fun, free, creative and different for everyone!

Super helpful first lesson!
Ali
I know more about the guitar than I ever thought I would, thanks to a Patrick. He is so patient with me and knows exactly how to teach me so that I remember and understand. I originally started taking lessons to be able to play a few songs around a campfire and now I can play whatever song I want because he really taught me to read music and know chords. I’ve been taking lessons for less than 6 months and I am farther along than I even thought possible. I would recommend Patrick to anyone and everyone wanting to learn guitar. He is incredible and such a great teacher!!!!!!
Heidi
Patrick is extremely knowledgable which makes learning from him really fun and engaging. He not only teaches you how to play, but teaches you the why behind every chord and how it relates to other things you've already learned. He's patient, fun to learn from and will help you reach your goals. I can guarantee there is no other teacher out there who knows more about this instrument — he's definitely worth the investment!

"I have been taking guitar lessons from Ryan for five months now. Within those five months I have learned to use several techniques on the guitar. Ryan has also taught me about other instruments which has resulted in my guitar skills to be a lot better. Currently we are working on my rhythm by using the drums. Feeling the beat of the drums helps me with my rhythm. Ryan does not only uses drums but other instruments too. To help connect the instrument you came to learn on. Over all Ryan is are great teacher and I have learned more in five months than I did when I tryed to learn myself."

"Russell is a True Professional and brings a whole new meaning to Musicianship!

I've had a passion for music my entire life and have taken lessons with many different teachers. No one has come close to Russell's authenticity. He is Unique to say the least and extremely delicate in articulating step by step instructions on how to master guitar playing!

Just in a few lessons I'm already playing like a Pro! (at least I feel like one, haha) Never thought I would be playing with such ease!

I HIGHLY Recommend Lessons with Russell. Extremely Genuine, Patient and understanding of each individual student!

Thanks Russell!"

How to Simplify Your Live Guitar Rig for Performances

Playing the guitar is such a fantastic experience. It’s so relieving to be on stage or in your designated practice space and just wail on your instrument. However, one of the difficulties of being a guitar player is deciding what gear is needed for live performances.
