About Siddharth
Hi there, my name is Siddharth and I have been teaching chess in public and private schools, including private lessons, over the last three years.

I love to see students grow with each lesson and accomplish their goals. Under my tutelage, I have helped students advance from beginner level to tournament level competition. Recently, two of my students have won in their respective tournaments.

I attended De Monte Fort University in England and earned my degree in Textile Technology and Business Management in 1976. Since then I have been fortunate to be able to travel worldwide.

I enjoy teaching children of all ages, as well as adults. My philosophy is to make chess a fun experience while improving my students' technical skills.

I look forward to helping you reach your goals.

The learning experience was great and very informative. The only minor problem that occurred was that the video kept freezing every three seconds, making it difficult to understand what the instructor was saying. However, this may only be a website problem; my experience with Siddharth was enjoyable and educational.

Worst in teaching than her?Certainly, You will find millions of teacher around the world.
Best in teaching than her? Probably, you might find a very few teachers that can meet this criteria.
Like her? You will never find a teacher like her. Not only she knows sewing , then she knows how to teach people to sew. I have seen her turning students to CEO. I have seen her changing life of her students by giving them the opportunity to sew for themselves, their families or even make money from sewing.
She is very knowledgeable, joyful, honest and very professional.

Jeff was such an amazing teacher. He came to our home and even brought the special paper with him. Our son who is 7 and his friends (8-9yrs) thoroughly enjoyed learning how to fold origami and it was a creative fun way to spend the afternoon. We hope to do it again soon.

About Brooke
I approach my students with the same attention to detail that I approach my own knitting. There is nothing more frustrating than trying to knit something and it always end up turning out wrong no matter how much you try to understand the pattern. Most of what I teach is how to read the fabric the knitting creates and how to improve your own method. I would have never been able to do this with out all of my own experiences and all the experiences that lead me to where I am now.

I have been raising my daughter, being a wife and all the while knitting and challenging myself to become better for no other reason than for myself. I took on small projects, like baby sweaters, mending store bought sweaters, making blankets and built from there.

Many times I would be at a stand still and would to go to a local yarn shop or find knitting refere
nce books to figure out what I needed to do to fix my problems. Mostly, half of my time knitting was spent ripping (frogging; as knitters say) out my work and picking all my stitches back up.

My life as a sergeant in the Army gave me a “can do” attitude that helped me to never give up. Now, that doesn’t mean my knitting didn’t ever go in a “time out” basket. However, one thing the Army encourages in the their enlisted ranks is to find a way to get a job done with the end in mind. So, that was me, just jumping in, not being afraid to do so. I mean what was the worst that could happen? It wasn’t like I was jumping out of plane. (Yes, I did do that, too, while I was in the Army.)
During this time I was also homeschooling our daughter and when you do this it forces independent study and good research traits. The answer is always out there somewhere and yes, I did believe.

Along came another life shift. This time my daughter would be taking less of my time as she was going to college and my husband would no longer be active duty. I wandered into my local craft store where I knew the yarn manager and mentioned that my life was going to drastically change. I saw her excitement plain as day on her face. “Why not put in an application?”, she asked. I did, and she promptly retired within the next few months. The teaching opportunity almost, literally fell in my lap. But, the beauty of it all was that I was willing to accept yet another life change and as a result found my passion.

I have been sewing for 40 years -- since I was 11 years old -- first learned to sew on my Grandmother's treadle sewing machine and haven't stopped yet. My aunt was a professional seamstress and I spent summers with her learning how to sew. I've enjoyed sewing clothes for my children and grandchildren, american Girl doll clothes, quilting, and time spent in my sewing room with fabric creating something new. I do machine embroidery and love embroidering items for my home as well as t-shirts and other clothing items. I've taught my daughter and several friends to sew. You will learn in a casual and fun atmosphere focused on making the items you are most interested in creating.
