Learn your favorite songs! I like to start with basic note reading and theory, then playing, and go from there, but I will always adjust according to the student's level and what they want to play. Great with pop music and classical, and basic jazz.

Cool guy, very patient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Andy has been so fantastic with my daughter. Not only does he teach her the fundamentals of piano, he also incorporates teaching her more modern songs from bands she likes as well as songs she has written herself. He encourages her to always be creative and records her playing and singing the song, with his accompaniment, for her to listen to. She has been learning with Andy for a few years now and every lesson is new and different. We couldn't recommend him enough

Andy always manages to motivate my daughter and get her to enjoy playing her viola, which is no mean feet! She looks forward to the lessons and has improved greatly over the last couple of years.

Reading of music and basic piano technique are emphasized, incorporating aspects of music theory and musicality.

About Kathryn

Kathy believes that variety is the spice of not only life, but also music. Raised singing folk music with a musical family (think accordions, guitars and lots of vocal harmonies), she learned guitar and piano at an early age, but began singing even earlier. Her quest to give the world the best

Amazing!!! A bright, joyful light!

My experience with Kathy has been great. It's been roughly five months and I learned a lot and I'm also much more confident to sing. Learning the right techniques is crucial. Kathy is extremely patient and she adapts the classes to the student goals and aspirations. English is not my first language and she was also always very respectful and patient in explaining everything twice or maybe three times until I get it.

Kathryn has a terrific demeanor, and provides clear, thoughtful suggestions for technique!

Terrible. Only taught 30 minutes out of 60 minute sessions. On the 3 session I mentioned it and he said he didn’t think my son needed more than that even though we paid for it. Was so disrespectful!!!! Never again!!! Highly unprofessional when asked about why he cut the lessons short. Please don’t leave your kids with this instructor work paying attention. He will get over on you if he thinks you’re not involved.

"Anna Petkova has been teaching my son play piano for the past three years. He started playing since the age of five. Anna has been playing a crucial role in my son's love of music. Anna has been studying and playing piano professionally and her teaching program reflects her knowledge of music. She develops her students based on their skills, talents and desire to learn. She is patient, very positive and encouraging. Anna personalizes her lessons based on a child's preference and interests in particular musical pieces so that children are personally vested in the success. My son's talent in playing piano blossomed for the past three years due to the awesome teacher that we have!! I would highly recommend Anna Petkova to anyone considering taking piano lessons."

"My Favorite Piano Teacher!

Chris is an unbelievable piano teacher! He always makes sure we are working on something that I enjoy which keeps me motivated. He is very patient (which is great since I'm kind of a slow learner!) and is always willing to go over things as many times as I need.

Chris also has such a great passion for his music so a lot of the times my absolute favorite part of our lesson is when we are finished and I ask him to play me some of his own newly composed songs!"
