Hello and welcome to my studio!

***I AM vaccinated!

I have performed and taught professionally over the past decade in a variety of scenarios ranging from Classical Concerts, to Wedding Band performances, to live Ska/Hip-Hop gigs all along the East Coast. The biggest thing I have learned is that performing is a skill in itself, and everyone can acquire this unique ability!

As a member of my studio, our first lesson will involve going over what your goals are in music performance. Do you have a big performance at the end of the school year? Do you play alot of gigs and find yourself getting nervous? Do you finally want to play that solo with confidence and win the audience? Whatever it may be, I will give some helpful starters to move toward your goals. In fact, I have a unique process for building up confidence in an engaging way.

If you are looking for more general private lessons with me, please click the "change subject" item above my time availability and select

As a bass opera singer and professional voice over artist, I am dedicated to creating a healthy and beautiful sound with my own voice and the voices of my students. I will not come into our lessons saying there is a single way to sing. In fact, many genres require a great deal of varying vocal techniques and stylized voices. What I will do is help to lay a foundation in healthy singing so that you feel comfortable singing any genre. We will start by ensuring that your breath and vowel placement feels comfortable and from there move into repertoire of your choosing or some that I recommend based upon your interests. You will leave your tenure with me empowered to continue your passion and career for singing long after your lessons end. Music is meant to be shared. Together, we will help you to share the music and passion that you hold so dear.

About Matthew

Hello, my name is Matthew F. and I am a professional opera singer based out of Philadelphia. As a current roster musician with Philadelphia Opera, I know what it means to perform at some of the highest levels houses in the country. Excellent instruction for our first session, tailored exactly to where you are - and I’m a total beginner! Explained all the terms and theory that we’ll be working on, and is focused on finding out exactly what my natural voice does, and how to improve from there. Very excited to continue working with Matt!

I love teaching music! I have been a professional guitar instructor for over 15 years. Through attentive one on one instruction I develop a program to suit the player's goals. I emphasize technique with drills designed to raise my students' skills evenly across a wide range of categories, like picking, fretting, scale patterns, chord shapes, chord progressions, rhythm training, and ear training. I can guide a complete beginner toward being able to play songs and have fun. For the more serious student I have a plan that will make you a better player and musician guaranteed.

About Benjamin

I discovered music sifting through my Dad's record collection and soon decided that I wanted to play guitar. As a teenager I began taking lessons and building confidence in my abilities. I played in different types of bands ranging from rock, country, blues, and jazz. After completing College in

The violin has been a constant and enriching presence throughout my life, and I enjoy helping people engage with this instrument that is demanding and rewarding in equal measure. No matter your age or level of expertise, I would be happy to help you along as you discover new musical territory. I’m most fluent in the classical style, but am happy to explore other areas with you as well, from bluegrass to Broadway.

About Kris

I have been teaching the violin to students of all ages and abilities for close to twenty years, and have had great satisfaction in seeing them all grow and develop over time. Some of my younger students have gone on to the Interlochen Arts Camp, and one of my former adult students still makes an a

"Jeff has been providing great instruction in a comfortable environment. Each class Jeff is prepared with a list of things we are going to go over, and we review things from the previous week. He will show you how to make or bring props that you may not have and will let you try them out to make sure the trick works for your routine. After each class he has emailed me links to videos that provide alternate explanations as well as some more advanced techniques of things we may not have gone over. For me, in person learning works a lot better than Zoom and Jeff makes the classes both fun and instructional. The 1-1 in person environment he has will really help you excel your abilities. Each class you leave with at least a few tricks that you can start working on immediately. I would highly recommend Jeff!"
