My enthusiastic teaching style makes learning music with me fun & exciting. My philosophy is to teach the individual by customizing the Music curriculum to the specific needs of the student. As partners in learning, the student will achieve the highest success through positive reinforcement & a positive learning environment. Students can expect to have their love of music nurtured as they gain technical competency through our lessons.

Music Theory can be quite a pain to master. I offer two class options to help alleviate some of that pain. Attend my bi-weekly class in theory that begins with a complete coverage of Music Fundamentals, or customize your educational experience with an individual lesson tailored to your specific needs as a student. (Bi-weekly course requires a minimum of ten 45-minute lessons.)

I am a conservatory trained flutist that loves teaching beginning to intermediate students. I approach teaching as a unique collaboration between me, the student, and their parents, when working with children. A single concept can be approached from many angles, and I am committed to finding the best way to communicate with each student. My goal as a teacher is to see the potential in each student, and help them reach the next level of mastery.

I teach drums, tabla, and latin percussion (congas, timbales, bongos) for all levels. I am disciple of Pandit Sanju Sahai and Ustad Shahbaz Hussain on the tabla. I have studied latin percussion with Pablo Batista (Alicia Keys), Juan Castellanos, and Roberto Vizcaino (Chucho Valdes). I teach drums for all styles and ages with a focus on jazz, rock, funk, and latin. Both online or in person lessons are welcomed!
