The teacher is very nice to the student, helps the student in different ways, and explains problem so the student understands their mistake.

Meagan is very flexible and is a great teacher. She doesn't make the student feel self-conscious about answering wrong, She gently asks the student to explain how they came up with the answer and allows them to correct themselves. If the student doesn't realize their error during the explanation, she explains to the student wherein the equation they made an error. She also repeats the problem areas with the student until they have a full understanding of the process.

I sought Meagan out after my daughter came home with a failing grade in Algebra I. I am very happy with my selection, she is the perfect fit for my daughter. She is very flexible and I appreciate that she doesn't make my daughter feel like her lack of understanding of the subject matter makes her inadequate. I am going to continue hiring Meagan for the duration of the school year, my daughter really likes her and is learning far more than she is from her regular classroom environment.

I have over forty years of teaching and writing experience, from middle school writing, to high school, to the University level, including professional and business writing. I served as the Writing Specialist for the Pennsylvania's Department of Education and also was a founding member of the Pennsylvania Writing Project. My work on my Ph.D. took me to understanding composition at it's most basic level, and I studied carefully the advent of writing as a science and as a fundamental form of expression. My thesis centered around the development of grammars and the development of the paragraph. I've received many awards, positions, and commendations for my expertise and success of teaching writing at all levels.

About Stephen

I have 40 years of teaching high school and university writing and composition. I was a reader and a question developer for the SAT and the ACT program as well as the AP program. It was my daughter's first contact with professional acting.
She has been talking about being an actress for quite a while now, so we decided to let her take a few lessons to see if she likes it.
Ollie was really comprehensive of our needs and made us see the big picture of that world... just what we needed, to start walking into that direction on the right path.
My daughter had a wonderful time with Ollie.

I booked 4 acting sessions with Ms. Ollie for my daughter. Ms. Ollie did a phenomenal job starting from scratch, coaching my daughter for her up coming audition. My daughter had no acting experience, she was shy, and soft spoken but in just 4 short days, Ms. Ollie turned her into a confident, outspoken young actress. My daughter nailed her audition thanks to Ollie!! I will highly recommend her as your acting coach.

"When I first started writing my screenplay for a short story I'm directing and producing, I had a limited time to write, direct, edit and submit to a "once a year" film festival in Orlando Florida. I ran into a bunch of obstacles, from using the correct grammar, to punctuation's, spelling and inconsistencies in the story line. She was very clear and concise when she spoke. I don't know what she did but her method of teaching allowed me to relax and open my mind, and allowed me to absorb and remember every single writing technique she's given me. I am proud to say that my short film was finished in time to enter the festival. Thanks to Jonita it is now 3 months later and I have finished my fourth short screenplay, now starting my fifth. She is just amazing, I'm so happy I found her to work with me."

"My daughter needed help with her writing portfolio for an audition. I knew that the competition was going to be fierce and while I believe that my daughter has real talent I also knew that she needed help organizing here ideas. Needless to say, she was selected to participate in the writing program. We both know that Jonita’s guidance and collaboration helped her achieve that goal. Jonita’s teaching style is exceptional and refreshing. My daughter hopes to work with her again as she transitions to the next stage of her journey as a young writer."
