Karen is a meticulous teacher. She explains lessons in an accessible manner and gives you hands on experience under her direction. She takes time to ensure the student's understanding and proficiency before progressing. She is patient and kind. She was extremely flexible in scheduling our lessons. I learned to crochet and the basics of getting started, how to read patterns, supplies needed and much more. I love that I am now proficient at my new hobby thanks to such a wonderful teacher. Thank you Karen!
Beth
AWESOME I so enjoy working with Karen! In advance of today’s lesson, we coordinated re work on a summer shawl Project. We both thought a summer shawl addressing those summer air conditioned restaurants was a good project for folks like me that travel a bunch and need take along projects. With Karen’s guidance in mind, I bought gthe yarn. Then Karen showed me 6-9 different shawls she’s made so I could pick target shawl pattern that wasn’t above my ability and appealed to me. I’m now on my way; 3+Rows in and feeling confident of noteworthy progress til next session.
Beth
Encouraging, supportive, first class instructor. I signed up for lessons after I realized the kit I bought was above my knowledge level. It's been an awesome experience. I am more confident in reading instructions and making the (pattern specified) numerous different stitches. F2F lessons is the best; its been an awesome experience. I will take more lessons from Karen - she's just that good; a real gem for "take lessons".

Want to learn more about "what makes you tick", what your energetic blueprint/makeup is? Or perhaps you know the basics, but you want to learn "to read" charts, or to work with "moving energy" (transits and progressions) more effectively.

Whatever your desire and current level of knowledge, astrology is a wonderful language and method of learning "how you work yourself" deeply, and how to understand/partner with others (and with the universe!) more effectively.

I can teach you about your chart in a more academic sense (I have 20 years of tutoring/teaching experience!)--OR we can integrate astrology with healing, meditative and/or creative practices, to help you integrate your inherent archetypal expression in a deeper, more impactful way.

I have a LOT of patience! All you need is the desire to learn to knit. If you never have knitted before, I will get you knitting. If you want to learn, but believe you can’t learn because someone told you can’t learn to knit, I will prove that you can knit. If you have knitted a long time ago, but forgot all of it or most of it, I will bring it back to you. If you already know the basics of knitting, but don’t know how to get beyond the simple knitted squares and rectangles, I can get you to the next level. If you know knitting basics, but gave up because you make a lot of mistakes, I will show you how to fix mistakes, so that mistakes don’t become traumatic. If you know the basics, but want to learn a different technique such as color work, cables, lace, or more, I can teach you. Do you have trouble reading patterns or charts, I can take the mystery out of them.

I consider myself an experienced knitter so was surprised to find myself stymied by reading a more difficult pattern. Amy is a pleasure to work with as well as an extremely skilled teacher. Her explanations are clear and in one case her diagram clarified my confusion. I learned, laughed, and left Amy having learned what I needed to learn. I am impressed with her and will call her again.

Amy is a highly skilled, experienced knitter, as well as being an effective instructor for beginners. Students work at their own pace, with one-on-one support from Amy. Additionally, Amy provides support to students outside of class time via email and text.

I can't say enough good things about Amy. She has been so dedicated to teaching our senior population. They have learned to knit and feel good about what they make. She is low key and relaxed but also very reliable and professional. The participants look forward to her class every week.

I'm result oriented and very dedicated to my students and provide students with a lot of constructive feedback during the lessons.
Lessons will mainly focus on students strength and weaknesses, through many different means. The lessons are supplemented by several materials: work book problems, live game play, analysis of student's own games, online resources, classic game review and much more. My custom lesson plans are based on the student's own background and experience. I am always committed to making each lesson fun and exciting!

"I enjoyed taking lessons with Mr.Siddharth. He was a really cool instructor I could talk to and easily forget about time. It's always good to be so engaged with what you are learning that you put all your focus into the subject, and he easily allowed that. I even went over time in my first lesson, we were both so engaged!

I highly recommend Mr.Siddharth as an instructor. I am a relatively advanced player, but I can see how his wisdom can transfer over to beginners and intermediates. I will consider even more lessons in the future. One small caveat was his small bouts of absent-mindedness (moving the wrong piece, forgetting what as the last move), but that never caused so much confusion I didn't know what was going on.

Overall, he doesn't disappoint. Book a lesson with him, and you'll learn something."
