About Sepehrdad
As an experienced Violin teacher I help students to teach themselves the violin, to understood that their playing only improves when they change habits. A bored or disinterested child simply won’t progress, and a great violin teacher knows how to communicate with creativity and clarity. I have proper knowledge of the violin’s mechanics, general musical and repertoire knowledge, skilled as a player, and strength as a communicator. I have a bachelor degree in string performance, and I’ve taught students from beginner to advance for more than 10 years, guided students participating in inter-school musical shows, competitions and different musical presentations – Fests and orchestras. I teach both Suzuki and traditional method depending on the level of student.

About Klodina
I am an active, professional flutist, having earned a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in flute performance. For the last 20 years I have been very involved in the music community throughout the world having worked with a multitude of orchestras and chamber groups, done recordings, and held solo concerts in Europe, Africa, and the United States. This has enriched my teaching since with my strong background I have a better understanding of the necessary techniques and skills when sharing them with my students.

I teach students of all ages from beginner to advanced. With years of experience I have developed the ability to adjust my lessons for students of different levels and create a learning environment that is fun yet challenging and full of growth. Having played a variety of genres I encourage my students to choose pieces that s
peak to them while also working on developing their techniques through shorter exercises. My goal is to help my students achieve their goals and surprise themselves going way beyond, because I truly believe there is no limit. With practice, determination, and inspiring lessons my students can reach heights they would never have imagined before.

Teaching Methods:
For beginners I usually work with the Rubank methods book as well as songs that students love to play. I often use flashcards to facilitate with site-reading and slowly introduce all the musical symbols. I adapt different techniques to meet the needs of each student. For intermediate and advanced students I prefer using scales, etudes (exercises), sonatas, concertos and solo pieces of their preference. I especially enjoy playing duets with my students, one of their favorite ways of practicing, as it combines our talents in order to create something beautiful. Through regular practice and mentorship I teach my students to become independent and confident performers as they perform solo, as part of a band, or in competitions. There is no greater joy than being able to teach my students and help them better perform and understand the music they are sharing with others. My goal has always been to be a facilitator of my students' journeys to success and to see them fall in love with the flute just like I did at a very young age.

Tools:
During my lessons I often use a tuner and metronome to help students play on tune and keep the tempo if needed. Additionally, I occasionally use a recording device so students can become more aware of their sound and can learn to self-correct. It is also a great way to hear improvement over time.

Klodina was an extremely thorough teacher, who allowed the student some flexibility in choosing songs and exercises to improve student enjoyment. She also encouraged hard work at home so that lessons could demonstrate progress in my flute playing. There was a technical focus (scales, transitions, arpeggios) to make sure that I could go to the sheet music and play it with ease. Klodina was always a friendly, kind, passionate teacher, and I would recommend her to anyone wanting to improve their musical ability.

About Norma
Hi! My name is Norma. I was born in Bogota, Colombia. I fell in love with music when I was a little girl, so I began taking music lessons when I was 8 years old. First, I took violin lessons, and after four years decided to switch to the piano.
I also loved to sing. So I took piano lessons and singing lessons at the same time, and after a while I dedicated myself completely to singing. After that I graduated from my music school with a degree in vocal technique.
I have sung in several venues in Colombia and in the US. as a solo artist and as a band member as well.
I also worked at the School of Rock in Coral Springs, Florida for four years, which gave me much more experience with rock music and teaching kids of all ages.
I really hope I can help you reach your goals, and to love music the same way I do.

My teaching passion comes from my love for the experience- having played in bands since 18; recorded a full album when in 2011. My style is considered Indie Folk, playing a mix of covers and originals.

About Justin
Hi! I'm Justin, and above all I honor God as the source of my life and the originator of music itself!

It's funny that what got me hooked into music was video games. The music played during epic adventures and quests made me feel incredible; it helped me escape into another world, a world of wonder. That's how music should make everyone feel. I got my first keyboard in 2005, and since then I began teaching myself piano and later began formal lessons in my last year of high school. After that, I attained my Bachelor's of Arts in Music Performance from Morgan State University.

My time at Morgan was incredible! How rich it was, being able to learn from so many incredible teachers such as composer James Lee III (who has had his music performed by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra), along with my time in the world-renowned Morgan State Choi
r (who has traveled the globe and even performed at the White House for former President Barack Obama. I've been thoroughly trained in classical music: Piano, choral, and orchestral, and bring that wealth of knowledge with me to enrich YOU.

Besides my formal training, I am a recording artist with Holy Host Ministries, a Christian rap and worship group from Baltimore, Maryland with whom I co-produce music, song-write, and perform.

I also help lead worship at my church, Church At Baltimore, 2-3 Sundays out of the month. So, I am passionate about and well-versed in Christian music.

I love God and love people, and get great joy out of being able to help develop them in their musical goals while reaching their destiny!
