I am a professional musician based out of the Washington D.C. area. I am currently a tuba player in The United States Army Band "Pershing's Own."
I believe that having fun, being able to clearly share your musical ideas with others, and being a well-rounded person are an integral to being a musician.
Every student has different goals and desires and I strive to create a specifically tailored course of study with each of my students.
Whether you are just starting out, or are an advanced player, I would be happy to work with you!

I focus on note reading and music theory, in addition to technical studies. I encourage chamber music and will often pair up students to play duets and trios.
I use the Faber method.
Welcome to my music studio! This will be a fun, incredible way to start or continue your music instruction. I have been a private violin and piano instructor since 1991. I took a break in 2005 while my kids were little. Now that they have grown up a bit, I am so excited to come back to this!

As a trumpet teacher for 3 plus years, I focused on ages 9 to 18 years old. Most students develop a healthy relationship with their instrument and good practicing habits.
