At my studio, every lesson is specially and uniquely catered to each student. Lessons aren’t prepared with each student's learning style in mind because no two children are alike. There is no “one-size fits all” curriculum! Students will learn to thrive at a steady pace and one that matches their own, while still having their skills molded and stretched!
I have been studying music all of my life and began giving lessons 3-4 years ago. My first lesson was for alto saxophone and then I began to take on piano students. I love to watch my students grow and feel the success of a great performance and also be able to understand that failure is still growth!
By spring 2020, I will have graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Music Education and teacher certification, to go on to obtain my Master's Degree.

I have been teaching piano in the Seattle area for close to ten years. I have worked with young beginners to intermediate and some advanced students. My methods are eclectic and I often draw from the Kodaly Method for beginners. I encourage my students to sing along while they play to reinforce learning, accessing multiple neural pathways.
I teach my students to read music and play with feeling and heart. I instill a love of music in my students by creating musical moments in them and expose them to a wide variety of genres and styles. Students will learn basic technique, theory, improvisation, and performance etiquette, all while having fun!

P.S. I have no doubts that for as long as he is my instructor, I WILL learn how to play and be very good at it!
I've been taking lessons with Daniel for a few months now, and I have thoroughly enjoyed and grew from each lesson. If you're serious about making music for fun or professionally, he's the teacher for you.
What I like most is how he creates a beneficial and serious learning environment that's still incredibly fun and positive. After a few lessons we were already playing songs together, and he's taught me a more effective way to practice on my own, which was a major problem for me.
As soon as you meet Daniel, you can tell how passionate he is about his craft, and if you display your own passion for music, you will work great together, and you WILL progress. I highly recommend him!"
It may seem silly to ask whether you're breathing correctly. After all, it's something we do subconsciously each and every day. But when it comes to singing, there actually is a right way to breathe. Here, Chesterfield, MO teacher Lauren V. explains how to check... As vocalists, we are taught to sing using good breath technique. What does this look like? If you've ever noticed an athlete breathe, generally you will see the chest and shoulders rise. When singing, good technique allows th …

No matter how many times you practice a piano piece, committing it to memory is a totally different beast! Luckily, there is actually an easy trick for how to memorize piano music. Read on as Hampton, VA teacher Rachel G. explains her method... All pianists have heard it at one point or another -- the dreaded onus for every student: "This piece needs to be memorized." Handedness is the sense that one hand is more dexterous or coordinated compared to the other. Researchers usually determine an individual’s handedness by observing which hand is used to write or eat. Although the causes of handedness are not fully understood, about 10% of the population is left handed or ambidextrous according to Dr. M.K. Holder, a researcher and specialist on handedness. Many left handed students wonder if they will need a specialized instrument in order to learn to play …
