Also known as voice-over. Any time you hear the voice, but do not see the face connected to it. The unseen announcer, animations, supplying the voice for another actor.

So much of communication on stage, or in TV or film is done with body language, facial expressions, movements, actions, and voice to tell the story. A voice-over artist has to do it all with just her voice.

About Susan

I also have quite a bit of experience performing in all those arenas. I have a relationship with one of the best management agencies in the area, so my students get fas

I've been taking lessons with Susan Scher for about two months now. I can easily say I've been impressed at how much I've improved. I look forward to lessons every week. I feel that soon enough I'll be able to audition for roles in film and television. If you live in the Baltimore area and are interested in voice acting or any acting in general. Contact her and go, you won't be disappointed.

I did not know what to expect when I signed up to take classes with Susan. I decided to take classes with her for two reasons: Her studio is not far from me and 2, the good reviews left by her clients. All I wanted was to learn the fundamentals and techniques about acting. Susan was excellent and very patient. She offered water in each lesson, which is also very kind. Her interpersonal connection brings a sense of comfort. Her studio is very neat and welcoming. I do not have regrets in my selections and I know you won't be disappointed too.

A truly gifted instructor. I came to Jennie with zero acting experience. She was able to patiently and carefully guide me to focus on my scene and most importantly how to RELAX and let the scene flow. Her knowledge of acting techniques and tips is unparalleled. She teaches you how to look at the scene as a whole and truly understand what your character is feeling. I highly recommend Jennie to anyone who is interested in learning more about acting.

Miss Bonner is a very patient and fun teacher, whose methods have boosted me from a beginner to playing college standard pieces by Mozart. She is great at playing clarinet. Classical, Jazzy; any genre you choose and Miss Bonner can teach you well. At the end of the school year, I won an award for being the best member in our school band. I could never have done it without Miss Bonner.
Jason
Ms. Bonner has been such an inspirational teacher over all the years she has taught me. She has helped me improve my clarinet techniques by pushing me to join various bands and best of all, introduced me to Jazz. Also, she is a really fun teacher, always making her lessons fun and entertaining. Without her, I wouldn't have the enthusiasm I have now for music.

Very knowledgable teacher! Christian is patient with me as a beginner and has a great teaching method whereby he never tells you exactly how to perform a piece, as that is not what acting is about.

I teach/conduct a show choir that meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month. Entry into this course is by audition only. Our next audition date is Saturday, February 4, 2017. If interested, please email Kait and she can give you the details and also provide you with the audition material you'll be expected to learn before the audition. This is a performing show choir that already has several shows booked. This is NOT your typical choir! We sing material by artists like: Imagine Dragons, Queen, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Journey, ELO, Adele, Pentatonix, Broadway, Earth Wind & Fire, The Andrews Sisters, Aerosmith, ABBA...to name a few. Students must already possess an ability to sing harmony with other people to participate in this choir. This is for Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced singers. This is a very fun group class that performs regularly.

"I took Vixen’s class while I was visiting the US for a few weeks. I had already done a Burlesque class in my home country but I wanted to explore the subject with another teacher from another country which means another approach to the discipline.
I’m so glad I chose this particular one. Vixen was so kind and benevolent. Her lessons are fun. She’s teaches me to be more sexy, to gain confidence on stage, to interact with the audience. A few things that I haven’t picked up in my previous class.
I really recommend it!"

"Briana was a substitute instructor a few times this past fall at District Dance Arts. Her energy, upbeat and motivational personality, style and flavor were a huge hit with both our students and parents. She is highly professional and highly organized and her choreography and music selections are tasteful and age appropriate.

In addition to hip hop, Briana has also stepped in to sub for a beg./int. ballet and jazz class and the students absolutely loved her. She is versatile, friendly, relates well with students, and is highly recommended by District Dance Arts!"

He is the perfect teacher if you want to improve your stage voice and pitch. Adam is the man if you have fame on your mind. Julia

If you are a little slow on the uptake, (like I am when I don't know the subject matter) you need to be brave and follow his directions in practicing techniques. Adam personalizes his lessons, but they could be more planned. They feel a little too unprepared."
