I had three 90 minute sessions-Diana was wonderful-she is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. She has a soothing demeanor-her studio is very conducive to meditating. She asks relevant questions and was extremely therapeutic in her approach. She is very intuitive and I feel much better about the things transpiring in my life. I highly recommend Diana-from beginner to expert, my experience was great.

Diana has a calm vibe throughout the lesson. She is very intuitive to what my mind and body is communicating. She has a gift of healing and her soft voice puts you at ease. She describes postures eloquently, and is able to gauge your abilities and go at the appropriate pace with each lesson. Diana provides yoga hand-outs and will give encouraging information for your health and diet. Diana was great at helping me understand things about yoga that I wasn't familiar with, I thought her presentation when I first walked into her class was remarkable. I am very thankful that I have the chance to take her classes. I highly recommend her to new and current students of Kundalini yoga and meditation.

I currently have 28 piano/music students that I teach weekly. Both the students and I enjoy the piano lessons very much, and I am looking to teach it full-time. I have a natural way of communicating and teaching music and also make the experience very unique as I incorporate my own listening exercises, piano games, and reading techniques that help speed up the skill of playing piano. Children learn quickly with me and the parents have been the best with recommending me to their family and/or neighbors and becoming piano students themselves! Thank you for that! Piano is fun, therapeutic, and academic.
Every year I have a music recital, where my students perform pieces that they have been working on. Most times, my students perform on their own, but we also have groups that perform together. This is a very special time for all of us. When
you become my student, you join a music community.

Some of my music history include:
A general music reading course in college
I also have 7 plus years in piano lessons, 2 years in violin, and 3 plus years in choir, voice, and sight reading. I also taught myself how to play guitar as a teenager.

For Health and Fitness:
I've been a personal trainer and I have a Master of Science in Nutrition and Physical Activity. There are key specifics with trying to body build or weight loss that involve both exercise and eating habits. With my experience in training, I know I can help anyone get to their max potential in their goals. I love teaching health and breaking down the science so my students understand how the body works.

Currently, I teach 7 courses throughout the semester as a PE college professor. I love my work and love sharing my passion for health to the next generation. I'm a very passionate person and love to motivate youth into finding and making their dreams a reality.

My name is Imani and I am a professional dancer, having danced with Taurus broadhurst Dance company, Bebe Miller, and Dayton Contemporary Dance company's Crystal Perkins. I have recently received my BFA in Dance from The Ohio State University after studying at Duke Ellington School for the Arts and CityDance Conservatory.

I have also trained at BalletMet, Jones Haywood Dance School, University of California Los Angeles,under the tutelage of Irene Tassadembo and others in Burkina Faso, and under the tutelage of Kaustavi Sarkar. I am trained in Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Modern Dance (Horton technique), Contemporary and Odissi (Classical Indian). I have completed my Mancha Pravesh in Odissi Dance.

I have taught to people of all ages (3-60) internationally. Some of the places I have taught are : CityDance, Columbus Refugee and Imm
igration Services, King Arts Complex, The Phillips School, The Highwood Theatre, and Wuhan University (Wuhan, China).

I was Captain of (and competed Internationally with) OSU Nashaa ( The Ohio State University's Co-Ed Bollywood Dance team).

I have been taking ballet lessons with Imani for the past month, and I could not be happier with the instruction that she has given me. Her attention to detail is incredible, and she is always 100% committed to perfecting my technique. She is genuinely interested in helping her students, and she even creates detailed lesson plans specific to her students. She is very personable and introduces new ballet movements and terminology in a fun and encouraging way. Lindsay is very knowledgeable about yoga and she cared about me getting what I wanted from the lesson. I have done yoga before in classes and videos, but that did not allow for real time feedback specifically for me. The online "live" class format with Lindsay had the privacy and convenience of my home and Lindsay taught for my level and condition (an old shoulder injury) and focused on making sure my form good with each position (it was all about me! lol). She gave great, clear feedback with attention to detail with every move. I definitely will take more yoga lessons from Lindsay.

For yoga, I teach a wide-range of yoga styles, with an emphasis on healing, somatic techniques, and Integral yoga principles. I have been practicing yoga for several years and teaching since 2017. Most of my classes consist of Gentle Flow practices to focus on finding space and stillness, providing the body an opportunity to unwind, heal, and restore. However, I am trained to teach Vinyasa Flow, Integral Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Iyengar Yoga. Currently I teach for Free Yoga on the Beach in Long Beach, CA.

My mission is to inspire students to find the stillness and breath in life, starting on the mat. Through a balance of flow and somatic technique, my classes will take you deeper in your practice. As a dancer and athlete, I understand the demands the body goes through daily, and firmly believe that yoga should reflect the opposite of your lifestyle. I have experience writing for the performance arts—specifically dance—entertainment stories, and media design.
