Hello!
I have over 10 years of musical experience playing the violin, and other instruments. I also have over 3 years of experience working with children ages 4-12. I have the ability to work with all ages.
My interest is in the student. I am interested in tailoring lessons to the goals and desires of each student. I specialize in students starting out and getting their feet wet in the music world. I believe in setting goals and achieving them in a way that works best for my students.
About Chelsea
Welcome everyone! I have a few beliefs: I believe that everyone should know how to play an instrument. Whether it is violin, ukulele, piano, their voice, whatever! Music is a part of what makes us human, and is important for personal development. I believe that no one is "too old" to star

Now, it has been one month, and I enjoy his classes. His analogies and examples are an apt way of understanding the techniques of playing the violin. Though Dr. Dimitry is an advanced violinist, he is very patient with absolute beginners. To sum up, I would highly recommend him to people who are very serious and determined to learn and practice the violin.

I use a combination of Suzuki approaches, improvisation, Dalcroze-inspired eurythmics, and somatic movement awareness (inspired by Feldenkrais and Alexander Technique) to simultaneously develop fluent musicality, joy in making music, a solid instrumental technique, and musicianship (including reading and theory).
