My goal is to build strong fundamentals with a strong basis of efficient technique with a beautiful sound. Through the study of etudes, scale exercises, and standards in the repertoire we will work together to improve your abilities on the instrument while fueling a love of music that you can carry with you well past your time with me.

My passion is singing and I have recently received my Master’s degree in classical vocal performance at the Mannes School of Music. My voice teachers have greatly impacted my life and my goal is to inspire my students in a similar way. I have acquired many different tools for teaching through my studies and teaching experience. Everyone has a unique voice and learning style and I tailor my teaching to each individual.
Students of all ages and levels are welcome. Styles that I teach include art song, opera, musical theater, and pop with a focus on building a solid and healthy vocal technique.
My experience in dance, Alexander Technique, and acting informs my teaching approach. I include body awareness, character interpretation, and making the music come alive as an integral part of the lessons. I love to teach and enjoy helping others discover their voices and achieve their personal singing goals. It would be a pleasure to help you discover your voice!

I've worked with Broadway actors, amateur adults, kids of all ages and with renowned theatre companies such as TADA!, Brooklyn Children's Theatre, STEPS on Broadway and The Neighborhood Playhouse for 20 yrs, teaching students how to reach their full potential as musical theatre performers.
I teach private on-line musical theatre coaching lessons to kids, age 7 and up, and adults of any age. If you are looking for a musical theatre teacher/coach, you've come to right place! Most coaches in musical theater are primarily pianists and don't have a background in voice, acting or performing. I have a background, not only as a musical director/pianist, but as a professional singer and actor in opera and musical theatre as well as teaching music, both privately and in classes for many years.
I focus on 3 main things:
1) your voice...teaching you to sing with a well-produced, flexible, expressive and healthy tone...
2) your musicianship...sightsinging, learning to understand and ...

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

Fawn is a caring, sweet, and compassionate voice teacher. She has pushed me out of my comfort zone, stretched me, and I feel like I have improved a lot in the tone and freedom of my voice. Even my sister said my singing sounds more relaxed. Fawn has honed in on the deficits that I need to work on but is also encouraging in a safe, comfortable, and laid back environment. She is brutally honest which I love, yet in a constructive way. I highly recommend her as a voice teacher"

We look forward to the growth we know our daughter will achieve in the coming year working with Will."
