My name is Savetha CH and I'm a professional chess player. Current USCF rating 2129 (USCF ID : 16699312). I've been playing chess since 1997 and I love what I do!

I focus on quality teaching on a 1 on 1 basis and making the learning experience the best to improve your chess skills.

Chess lessons, for me, are unique in many ways. The main reason, is that I've always wanted to teach students the patients, skills, and techniques to achieve the levels they desire in Chess. Another reason, is I remember when I was a couple of years into my chess journey, those struggles to hit my goals. I've always wished I had more help back then myself when playing. I believe it takes a great teacher/student match to excel and create a strategy together. Then moving forward, it gives both of us the confidence to succeed together. Overall, I'd say my ultimate goal is to help others in any way I can in this wonderful game of Chess.

I have been playing chess for well over 30 years. I have taught one on one
children and adults for about 10 years. I have great patience when I teach
students never believing that any concept is too difficult to understand or
master. I have a love for the game that I want to instill in others
I have hundreds of chess books and have gotten to know lots of chessplayers
throughout the years. I do my best to have my students gain and UNDERSTANDING of the game rather than just rote memorization.

I am a chess Grand Master from Spain living in Dallas. I take my lessons seriously, adapting to the level and needs of the students. I prepare in advance, and I focus on delivering quality material.

I am a 26-year-old software engineer, and I have been teaching chess privately and in schools since I was 18.

I am an experienced chess coach who works with all levels of scholastic and adult players. I hold a USCF CM title, as well as having 15+ years experience coaching absolute beginners up to A Class. I am an attacking player who has a aggressive tactical style where sacrifices and king assaults are my specialty. If you are looking to play quiet chess, then my lessons are not for you! I teach my students to seek and exploit the advantage from move 1. We will increase your knowledge of Strategy, Tactics, Positional Elements, Middlegame, Endgame, and Openings to name just a few. We will also train and hone the crucial skills necessary to improve your playing level such as Critical Thinking, Calculation, and Pattern Recognition. My goal for every student is for you to someday win a chess game against...ME! Looking forward to assisting your mastery of this awesome and amazing game!

My students can expect a lesson that's full of fun, engaging and accompanied by a high level of passion and energy.
I'm result oriented and very dedicated to my students and provide students with a lot of constructive feedback during the lessons.
Lessons will mainly focus on students strength and weaknesses, through many different means. The lessons are supplemented by several materials: work book problems, live game play, analysis of student's own games, online resources, classic game review and much more. My custom lesson plans are based on the student's own background and experience. I am always committed to making each lesson fun and exciting!
