Trying to go from stage to screen? It's not easy. If you can act, you can act, but how you communicate your character may differ dramatically. (Sorry. Couldn't help it.)

About Susan

Acting – I have taught all kinds of acting, including Audition Skills, Shakespeare, Stage, Film & TV, Dramatic, Comedic, whatever. I also have quite a bit of experience performing in all those arenas. I have a relationship with one of the best management agencies in the area, so my students get fas

I've been taking lessons with Susan Scher for about two months now. I can easily say I've been impressed at how much I've improved. I look forward to lessons every week. I feel that soon enough I'll be able to audition for roles in film and television. If you live in the Baltimore area and are interested in voice acting or any acting in general. Contact her and go, you won't be disappointed.

I did not know what to expect when I signed up to take classes with Susan. I decided to take classes with her for two reasons: Her studio is not far from me and 2, the good reviews left by her clients. All I wanted was to learn the fundamentals and techniques about acting. Susan was excellent and very patient. She offered water in each lesson, which is also very kind. Her interpersonal connection brings a sense of comfort. Her studio is very neat and welcoming. I do not have regrets in my selections and I know you won't be disappointed too.

I love to teach! I love to share this amazing means of expression with whoever wants to learn and respect it. It doesn't matter what level you're at, we all have to start somewhere and we can always get better. If you are looking for Choreo, HH Fitness or just to get started I'm definitely your guy. Ask as many questions as you like. Ive been teaching for over 15 years. All ages from 7-70.

A little about me. I started dancing in 2003. I connected with dancers from the DMV which led me to Breakdance practices at College Park, UMBC, JHU and more. As I got better and more skilled local crews began to take notice. I was inducted into The Deadly Venoms Crew "DVC" in 2010. The entire time training as a BBoy i was also learning and picking up other HH styles such as House, Krump and Popping. One was just not enough for me. In 2011 I competed in numerous All-Styles and Top Rock battles Nationally. In 2013 I was a showcase street performer in the production “Working America” and later that ...

Nino choreographed and taught my 14-year-young son a hiphop dance to accompany a vocal performance. The performance hasn't happened yet (coming up in Feb 2020), but without a doubt, Nino has been the best, most creative, attentive, patient, and caring dance instructor. Highly, highly recommend!!
Jake
JB / Nino is one of those truly rare instructors that merges personal fitness with the credibility from being part of an elite dance crew and the professionalism and skills required to be an AMAZING teacher and motivator. His knowledge of all dance genres is beyond impressive and he is able to relate to people of all levels and ages - including myself a busy 40 year old / father of 2 who is known as the “dancer” within my professional and social circles.
Brigit
Nino teaches my 14-year-old daughter Paloma hip hop and break, and was amazing! He is thorough, making sure she understands the choreography, step by step. He is super patient, giving her the time she needs to absorb the moves. He builds confidence and inspires Paloma to get better and better at dancing. And he’s a lot of fun! Nino inspired Paloma so much that she’s now preparing to audition for an arts high school! And this with very little formal training beforehand. Thank you so much Nino!

Voice Acting is essentially the art of acting - but without using the factors many of us rely on such as your face, body, set, etc. Voice acting requires an actor or actress to create an entire character and story with just their voice.

I will teach you how to convey a character or tell your story with simply your voice. Whether you want to learn how to do commercial work and advertisements, or you have a passion for playing characters, I can teach you how to fashion your voice to fit any role.

About Alyssa

I am a professional voice actress and musical actress, studying Commercial Voice student at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. This is a school known for producing superstars such as Brad Paisley, Trisha Yearwood, and Florida Georgia Line. I have been studying voice for over 9 years and performi

My daughter absolutely loved her first lesson with Alyssa. Jordan is 10, and she can be a little shy and reserved at first. She connected with Alyssa immediately, and she can't wait until her next lesson. I appreciate that Alyssa emailed me right after the lesson and provided detailed feedback to let me know how Jordan did and what she should practice for next week's class. Fantastic first experience!

I teach the voice as a functional tool to be used for self expression and communication with others. If you've ever struggled with projection or vocal fatigue, developing the voice is for you. I believe the voice is best developed through singing, as it works the voice in a way no other medium can.

Whether you are preparing for a presentation, learning lines for a play, or trying to maintain vocal health for everyday speaking tasks, you have a place in my studio.

Cat's snarky sense of humor adds to the fun you are certain to have in her class. Her warm encouragement, and total body positivity will have you feeling like a Queen from the first class. I still go to her every time I need to hone a new act. She's amazing not only at instruction, encouragement and choreography, she excels at solving problems, working out costume issues, knowing where to get or make literally anything and fine-tuning all your bits - both sensual and comedic. Whether you've never set foot onstage, or are a seasoned pro, you can benefit immensely from working with Cat. She is fantastic!"

"My son is very difficult to work with. He had never seen any reason to memorize a monologue word for word. Jason had a very difficult job ahead of him, getting my son ready for his auditions for college. Through working with Jason,my son realized the value of memorization, and practicing his monologue enough times to get it down. He is attending AMDA now, and he could have picked from three colleges that he auditioned for.

Jason kept his cool and worked well through all the little shows of emotion and pique that my son put on. Jason really came through for us and we will be using his services again for our daughter. Not only does Jason know his stuff, but he knows how to work with and handle teens."
