I can already tell that I'll learn a lot and improve a lot with Sammy's help and I recommend him
Kevin
I have been taking lessons with Sammy for a month now. I am very green when it comes to singing and I am extremely self-conscious about my voice and had never really sung in front of anyone before. Sammy provided me with exactly what I was looking for, direct feedback. At the first lesson, he had me perform a vocal warm-up so that he could evaluate my instrument. We then discussed genres I like, and what goals I was trying to achieve. He then asked me to chose a song to sing and sing it. He identified things off the bat that I had not thought about and gave me exercises to help work on what we discussed. Week to week we built off of what we identified the previous week and I am seeing progress. He is good about explaining things if I don't understand the concept and he provides examples of what he is talking about. It's been a great experience and I highly recommend Sammy as an instructor.

Very happy to have Sammy instructing my 10yo daughter in singing. Sammy has a good rapport with children but still keeps the singing class moving at a challenging pace
He is very organized and punctual as well!

I teach students how to sing with proper vocal technique, how to perform for an audience, and how to audition. If a student is interested in creating their own music, I also work with them on necessary songwriting skills they may need to know while starting their musical career.
My main goal is to help each student become the best version of themselves, discovering their potential and developing their technical and performance.
My style of teaching is to keep things fun so the students stay motivated and positive. I believe the best way to learn is to enjoy what you're doing. I give my students vocal exercises and skills that they can bring home and work on every day. My students are always progressing towards their goals and my commitment is to help students be the best they can be while having fun.

My two daughters, 14 and 12 years old, learnt from her for 6 years. My 14 years old daughter is so lazy, but Ms. Alla disciplined her properly. Without her, she never continued learning piano. My 12 years old daughter now loves playing piano, she looks for her favorite music scores and plays on her own fun. She is sometimes a bit scary, but we need it for some occasions. We miss you a lot!

"Taking lessons with Michelle has been one of the best decisions I've made thus far in preparation for my future in music and voice. Her methods of teaching has allowed me to feel extremely prepared for my future in music and future opportunities. Michelle has also heightened my abilities by teaching me new styles of technique when it comes to classical and broadway voice. I feel not only prepared for college but I also look forward to every lesson I have. She has really changed my outlook on voice and encouraged me to use my voice for future endeavors. As a high school student full of stress, voice really allows me to release the anxiety and have an hour or so of fun a week doing what I love most."

"I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Amber and working with her today. I was immediately put at ease - Amber made me feel welcome, accepted and was incredibly helpful to me today, as I am auditioning on Sunday to sing as a soloist at my church! I have great exercises to strengthen my diaphragm, and she gave really good instruction regarding how to get the correct sound for each voice range. I am looking forward to meeting with her again, and continuing my studies under Amber."

"Erik is exactly what I've been looking for in a voice teacher. I came to him with fifteen years of training and practice in theatrical stage performance, but not knowing how to get over my blocks, and harness my vocal power as a singer. Through deceptively simple exercises he's taught me how to use my voice in ways I never have before.

His understanding of music is expert, and as we work through musical notation I learn more about the art. The songs he chooses for me to work on are often the perfect challenge, classical arias, which I never thought I could do before we started training together. He has a sharp eye and ear for detail, keeping me from slipping into old habits, and he is as gentle as a lamb as he teaches me to be the Diva I've always wanted to be.

Fantastic teacher, and lovely human!"

She is herself a well-trained musician (I've heard her in multiple concerts) who is committed to producing students who not only sing accurately and with good technique, but also with musicality.
