My love for the piano started at the age of thirteen. I majored in Music Education at Frostburg State University, and studied piano under various professors. I have eleven years experience in teaching children and adults the piano. I hope to convey a love of music during lessons. Playing the piano shouldn't be stressful. It should be rewarding, relaxing, and fun.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Frostburg State University. The piano was my main instrument of study. I have taught piano lessons to people of various ages. I believe that anyone can learn how to play the piano. Music is an experience that can help boost one's self

Hi! My name is Jake and I have been playing guitar for 10+ years in a semi professional environment for close to 6 years. I'm here to help aspiring guitarists at any point in there journey, because in the quest for tone alone I have wasted many hours and many many dollars. I want to be apart of yo
Mr. Burns has been instrumental (no pun intended), in the development of my guitar playing. I was already a professional studio musician when I encountered Jake. He was playing live at a venue I happened to walk into one evening. After the show, I approached Jake. We had a lengthy discussion on music philosophy, style, and feel.
It was apparent to me, that if I was serious about becoming familiar with more complicated styles of play, Jake would be the man to help me achieve my goals. Jake has been a wonderful friend & mentor. You will not find a more professional, efficient & fun instructor. Mr. Burns is warm & inviting! He will help you reach your goals at "any" level of musicianship.

Nobody has to have a stronger and more flexible voice than the musical theater performer! The competent Broadway singer has a ton of colors, tones and characters available and I'm all about discovering them. I am not an accompanist or a coach, I am a vocal technician. My job is to give you the tools, your job is to come up with your interpretation - but how can you create a good painting without many colors available? If you want more colors in your voice and more strength and flexibility... come see me. Let's unmask that Broadway star you know you are!

Amber holds DMA degree in piano performance, which most teacher doesn't have. This makes her extremely qualified to teach students at any level. She really knows how to teach effectively. There was a song I had practiced for two months for my wedding but it still sounded wrong to me. I couldn't figured out what's wrong. Then I knew I need a teacher. That's when I started my class with Amber. She went through each line with me. Corrected my figuring to make it easier for me to play each key evenly. She taught me which part to use finger and which part to use hand, and how to relax fast between two notes. Those skills are so helpful for me. None of other teachers taught me before. Without her I will never do it."
There are several benefits of playing piano that go far beyond a greater appreciation for music and the acquisition of a new skill.
