Great instructor! Very patient and knowledgeable. Great choice for anyone wanting to learn or just improve their guitar playing.

I must say that Benjamin was great. I come from no musical background and had zero knowledge. Benjamin made me feel relaxed and broke down the sessions in an easy way so that I could understand the concept of what we were trying to accomplish. I look forward to future lessons and learning how to play the guitar

There are so many colors to the human voice. Unlike most instruments, the human body does not show us what note we are playing or how the air is inhaled in to our stomach. So we end up feeling our way through, using our imagination. This is where the magic happens. In class and outside of it, muscle memory takes its natural course and we begin creating a unique and practical "navigation map" of your voice.
Whether you feel like letting out some steam, working on those high notes or designing your own sound; I am excited to meet you! I have studied (and still studying - learning is endless...) many different techniques and am very committed to sharing what I know with patience and passion.
Lessons are flexible, fun and fit for the students needs.

I just had my first lesson with Ariella, and I can already tell she loves what she does, and it's truly a blessing to be working with her.

I am thrilled to be working with Ariella Edvy in my quest to learn Hebrew. Her approach of using music and video clips to teach make her lessons fun and relevant. But there are two things that really set her apart -- her art of teaching elocution (she makes you feel it!) and her way of modeling her lessons to each individual's learning style.

I have been playing violin since kindergarten, and I have experiences in teaching beginner students at SUNY Albany campus and I absolutely loved it! Music Performance was one of my majors of my undergraduate degrees, and I was fortunate enough to have an opportunity to perform a solo piece, Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in my senior year. I am currently enrolled in a Master's program for Intercultural Communication & English language education. Teaching has been one of my long-lasting passions and I am more than happy to work with various levels of violin learners. Hope to hear from you soon!!

"I first heard Nick play about 4 years ago and a friend of mine took lessons from him. When I decided to start lessons, I naturally decided to go to him. As I went to his place, I thought, "Oh wow! I forget to ask my friend whether he's a good teacher!" I need not have worried. He's superb. He focuses on musicality: listening, hearing, enjoying; and then pulls out the technical things you could improve at and delves deep. I leave every lesson feeling great, and (proof of the pudding) people I jam with comment on how much my playing has improved. I'm an "advanced intermediate" player, but Nick also teaches kids, beginners, etc. In the age of coronavirus, our lessons are on Skype, and they are great, too. He comes out of jazz and plays trad as well as modern, but he also has an Americana band, and he knows classical, and the student before me is learning Hendrix-style rock. So no matter what direction you want to go, Nick is your man!"

"To start off sammy is an awesome teacher. I basically came to sammy with a singing skill of a 4 out of 10, and sammy helped me improve better than I really thought I would ever turn out to be. I had been wanting to be able to sing popular r&b songs, sammy pretty much trained my voice and brung out the inner soul and passion in me. He taught to just reach the preak of the songs and flow with it smoothly and also be strong with my projection of my voice. I used to feel a little shy when started singing with sammy because i wasnt sure if my voice was good enough, but i have very well built my confidence up with sammy's help to be able to song anywhere in any situation! Other people have rated my voice as a strong improvement from what it was before as well and people seem to fall in love with my voice! Thanks sammy!"
