Terrible. Only taught 30 minutes out of 60 minute sessions. On the 3 session I mentioned it and he said he didn’t think my son needed more than that even though we paid for it. Was so disrespectful!!!! Never again!!! Highly unprofessional when asked about why he cut the lessons short. Please don’t leave your kids with this instructor work paying attention. He will get over on you if he thinks you’re not involved.

Alethia is great. She is working with my 7 yr. old daughter as a beginner in violin. She teaches in a way that is fun, appropriate, and respectful. My daughter has already learned so much and looks forward to her lessons with Alethia each week.

Alethia is very knowledgeable about technique and skilled at teaching.

Alethia is a very talented teacher and violinist. She is extremely professional, attentive and accommodating to her students needs/goals. As an older student with no musical background, she has made the violin less intimidating and more accessible by breaking it down and making it less complex and easier to understand. While, I've only been with her a few years, I'm very proud of the progress I've made with her. If you are interested in taking up the violin, I highly recommend her.

""I look forward to lessons every week. In these 10 months, I have gained confidence in my ability to learn the violin. I am a beginner (hobbyist) and I feel I learned more in the first four months as Dr. Olevsky's student than I would have learned in a year with any other teacher. Dimitry's teaching style is very concise and technical. From the very first lesson to present, he strongly focuses on form, technique and efficiency in learning, which is ultimately making all the difference in my progress. In hand with technique, Dimitry is exceptional at using theory, analogies and stories to help work through each step of the learning process. He is also very insightful and willing to share stories, history, and/or any information related to his experiences as a musician...which I enjoy hearing. I find Dimitry to not only be a fantastic teacher, but a patient, kind, and funny person who is passionate about what he does and what I am there to learn. He has high standards and exp ects exceptional effort from me as a student..which is a lot of hard work. In return; however, I have unlimited access to his wealth of knowledge and experience...and sometimes I get to just listen to him play the pieces I am learning which is worth all of the effort in and of itself. So beautiful""

"My son has been taking violin lessons with Hallie for almost one year. He started just after he turned 4. My concern when he started was that he was too young but Hallie has obviously taught kids his age before and knows what she is doing. She is creative in order to keep a four year old interested and engaged. She is also warm and positive. Most importantly, he's really learning how to play and about music in general - it is a wonderful feeling when he makes strides and does something that seemed so out-of-reach before."

"Wonderful teacher

Kelvin has been an excellent instructor for our daughter. He is articulate in a friendly and informative way. She enjoys her online lessons with Kelvin and has improved her technique within months. He has discovered and adjusted the unhelpful habits that she has developed over years of study. The improved quality of her playing has not only lifted her confidence and inspired her to keep practicing, but it has been recognized by other instructors as well.
Thank you Kelvin!"
