"Because it was online I thought it would not be as good as in person. But, I was blown away by how engaging a teacher Mr. Mendez is! My child was very excited and motivated to keep playing and practicing.

Love this teacher"

"Melissa is not only a gifted voice teacher, but an amazing singer herself. She is also very personable and reliable. I can always count on her to help me in a pinch, before an audition to help me with a particular song, or even help me pick out a song that is appropriate for the show for which I am auditioning. She has a large breadth of musical knowledge and experience, which makes me feel confident, and trust the notes she gives during the lesson.
Melissa's techniques with breathing and execution the best I have ever received, as a trained actor myself. Although she is extremely professional, Melissa also finds ways in making the lesson fun. I highly recommend her for both kids and adults and hope you get as much out of her classes as I have!"

"It has been such a great joy to see my son learning so much from Peter. His previous teacher did nothing to teach or improve his skills that I honestly went in to our first class with low expectations. I am very pleased to say how wonderful it has been to see how much my son has learned from the very first day with Peter. I am very happy to have found him. I would definitely recommend him for any of the instruments class' he teaches."

"Excellent first voice lesson. Jillian is warm, encouraging, and very knowledgeable. I was surprised how many "technical" issues she introduced me to (optimal breathing & how best to practice it at home; appropriate use of falsetto at upper limit of bass voice range, etc.) . Looking forward to continued lessons. (Much better use of what used to be my copay for psychotherapy! I've also joined rehearsals with new Encore-NYC chorale group in Manhattan, for people over 55. Music is giving me a real emotional lift in my retirement.)"

"Josh is an excellent teacher who focuses on developing ALL of a musician's skills. This is not simply a rote progression through the Suzuki books, but he includes ear training, improvisation, sight reading, as well as making sure the lessons particular pieces are supposed to teach are actually being taught. He does all of this in a relaxed manner designed to set the student at ease. He is also available to talk outside the studio if you have questions about anything, including how to change your strings. The only reason I am not taking lessons with Josh anymore is I am leaving the state for work. I can't recommend him highly enough."
