I took painting lessons about 10 years ago and haven’t done anything since. I brought a 1/2 finished painting. Maggie was great helping me set up and seeing where I was and what I remembered. Then showed me some techniques to help get me going. I’m looking forward to our next lesson.

Maggie is a talented instructor. Helped me tremendously with oil paint color mixing and matching.

Maggie is an exceptional teacher who has her classroom management skills down to a tee. It’s amazing to watch her command a classroom full of children while remaining sweet and never losing her cool. She was a great mentor and I learned a lot about art education from her!

I have been tutoring math for about 2 years. I have a specific teaching style with an emphasis on breaking down concepts into simple terms that could be easily absorbed and remembered to ensure that the objective of the lesson is understood. I love answering questions and helping people to understand concepts. Physics can be a very difficult subject to learn. My goal is to help my Student fully understand the concepts. Physics is all around us and is therefore an important topic to understand. I want my students to reach their full potential while having a great time learning!

"I had an opportunity to polish up my language skill with an exceptional guidance I received from Dan over the past few years. As English is my third language, I have always encountered sets of challenges to become highly proficient at it post high school age. My grammar, listening and writing skills, just to name a few, have improved leaps and bounds by having to work with Dan one on one. His methodical approach and patience in teaching transcends any area of studies whether it be music or language. I would highly recommend Dan for any future students out there."

"I am a sixth grade student, and Julia has been a very good math tutor to me for about 3 years already, and I plan to keep going to her for a while. I am seeing lots of improvement at school, and my MAP and other test scores have increased greatly since the start of Julia helping me out this year. Two things that are great about Julia as a tutor, are that she never, ever yells or gets frustrated when I don’t understand how to do something. Also, she takes as much time as needed to explain a hard problem to me, and she does that very clearly, until I fully understand how to do that problem. My overall opinion of Julia is that she is one of the best math tutors out there, because I had to go through many other tutors to find a good one, and Julia is the best."
