Also known as voice-over. Any time you hear the voice, but do not see the face connected to it. The unseen announcer, animations, supplying the voice for another actor.

So much of communication on stage, or in TV or film is done with body language, facial expressions, movements, actions, and voice to tell the story. A voice-over artist has to do it all with just her voice.

About Susan

I've been taking lessons with Susan Scher for about two months now. I can easily say I've been impressed at how much I've improved. I look forward to lessons every week. I feel that soon enough I'll be able to audition for roles in film and television. If you live in the Baltimore area and are interested in voice acting or any acting in general. Contact her and go, you won't be disappointed.

I did not know what to expect when I signed up to take classes with Susan. I decided to take classes with her for two reasons: Her studio is not far from me and 2, the good reviews left by her clients. All I wanted was to learn the fundamentals and techniques about acting. Susan was excellent and very patient. She offered water in each lesson, which is also very kind. Her interpersonal connection brings a sense of comfort. Her studio is very neat and welcoming. I do not have regrets in my selections and I know you won't be disappointed too.

I've had the opportunity to work with several different directors and acting coaches, both one on one as part of a cast and from an assistant director/ music director standpoint. This experience has taught me countless methods for teaching children to convey what's in their imagination to an audience in a way that they can understand.

About Joe

Hello! I've been singing since before I can remember and playing instruments for almost as long. I have a passion for music. Whether it's being onstage at York Little Theatre, directing the church choir in Red Lion, or paying with one of several local and regional bands, I love music and performing

After only two lessons, I can tell he's an awesome guy with a ton of enthusiasm for music and teaching. He definitely knows what he's doing, wants to share that with his students, and took the time to learn about my goals and history with performing. Went above and beyond by sending recordings of exercises to work on at home. So excited to keep working with him.

Elena was able to teach someone 500 miles away the basics to a slew of different Latin ballroom dances (salsa, marengue, bachata, cumbia step, etc.) In just a few lessons I was able to feel comfortable enough with the steps and timing to be able to dance in public with others! She was very amazing and was willing to accommodate to my needs as a student. She gave plenty of reference material as well as songs so that I'd be able to practice when not taking lessons. I would highly recommend her as a teacher to anyone who is wanting to learn Latin Ballroom dance, but doesn't know where to start!

The thing that separates me from the rest of the guides you will find on this subject is that my knowledge and experience comes from the Private Security field...specializing in "Undercover/plain clothed" investigations, leading to professional level proficiency in Human Behavior and Psychology.

In my brief existence on earth, somehow, all of my interests, flaws, and experiences fit together like a puzzle and have lead me to the point where I can understand Human Behavior and Psychology fluently....raising me to a life of leadership.

How did I end up directing Actors?  I was searching for a more positive expression for my knowledge while still supporting peoples life goals.  This search dropped me down a rabbit hole of research including method actors, and eventually Stanislavski's system, and the great Uta Hagen which shocked me.... until that very moment my life experiences resembled many aspects of these systems without even knowing they existed.

Since then, I have chosen ...

About Omar

As with anything else I teach It is important to understand the fundamentals and then gain knowledge from those experiences onward. Learning and enjoying anything depends on practice experience as well as separate tactics that cause you to be unique and create an advantage only you have.

Omar is an awesome instructor to teach on Method Acting. He understands the student aspiration and train accordingly.he motivates the actor with his excellent advises and provide inspirational thoughts to the actor.I am sure he can make best actors/actresses/artists through his own specific ways of method acting skills.thank you Director:).
Craig
When I first began my search for an acting coach I was stressed out because I knew I needed help but I didn't know how to start. Luckily I found the Director, Omar. The Director began by interviewing me to see what my goals and potential were. He then developed a specific lesson plan designed around what he called "The Fundamentals" and I progressed since then. Now after a few months of the Directors support, I know confidently that I am an Actor. I learned things about human behavior and method acting that I couldn't find in any video or online source. The Director somehow made things simple to understand and I'm glad for it. I am not done with the lessons, but since he has supported me and shared his knowledge, the least I can do is share my experience. Thank you Director!

Hello, my name is Anna and I have more than 22 years of the experience in ballroom dancing. I can teach Latin, ballroom, rhythm, smooth dances, including West Coast swing, salsa, merengue, Argentine tango, almost all couple dances, you name it. I have a huge experience working with the beginners with both left feet and with gold dancers, as well with pro dancers; I’m a national champion of my country and World Cup finalist, but as you remember: I have a huge experience with the beginners and two left feeters) I do believe in dancing, both: social and competitive and that’s why along with physical teaching I want to reach to everyone and share benefits of ballroom dancing)
Do you need to have a partner?! Preferably...but if you happen to be alone at home, I’ll teach you using whatever you will have around: tables, chairs, doors, etc.
Solo dancing?! Not a problem, I’ll teach you how to dance on your own
Wedding couple?! Great! I’ll teach you how to beautifuly dance together stress ...

We are complete novices for ballroom dancing-- Anna was wonderfully helpful in connecting prior to the lesson and preparing to help us get the most out of the hour that we booked. She is energetic, vivacious and has a highly effective teaching style. she is able to break the dance down with cues and rhythms that are easy to grasp and remember. We will definitely go back to her for another lesson.

I used to dance back in Russia for a couple years but I forgot everything since then. I’m glad I found Anna who speaks not only my language but also Russian. Just for a couple classes I refreshed my abilities and decided to go further with Anna and this is my favorite thing to do on earth for now.

I now have a deeper understanding and appreciation for the lines than which I have learned in school. I would highly recommend his coachings to any actor!"

"I am a dentist and my wonderful assistant was having trouble communicating with patients. Her voice was flat and monotone and she would freeze up when asked a question. Outside of work her voice and personality was completely different, and I wanted to see it come out when she worked with our patients. She did 5 online lessons with Eulis using Skype. I noticed a difference immediately, she was more confident and her personality began to show in her voice. I am very happy with the results and my assistant has stated that this has helped her in both her personal and professional life. She is no longer freezing up when asked a difficult question and is speaking in a more direct and purposeful way. Thank you Eulis!"
