Phil is a fantastic instructor. I am a beginner bass player, interested in learning rock and roll style music. Phil has been able to not only teach me all the classic songs that I love, but also improve my understanding of music theory in the process. In addition to this, Phil is very knowledgeable when it comes to recording music and playing in a live band, and he has shared many insights and personal experiences that have helped inspire me to keep pushing even when I am struggling with a simple bass part. I have seen major improvement in my playing ever since I started working with Phil. I would highly recommend Phil to students of all ages and levels: he is the ultimate professional, and on top of that a stand up guy!

Interested in playing the guitar? I've had over ten years of experience teaching the guitar, and even more time using the instrument in live performance. If you're a beginner, we can start from the ground up; we'll learn how to hold the guitar, how to tune, and how to strum your first chords. From there, we'll build the lessons around you-what you want to learn and the music you want to play! All music requires you to learn, but I believe your learning experience should be fun, so come into your first lesson thinking about the songs you want to play, because I'll have you strumming it in no time!

About Chris

A short history of my experience with music and education: The first instrument I learned to play was the guitar in 2001. I played the guitar on the worship team at FBC of Midway in Plant City, FL from 2001 to 2005. I began teaching private music lessons in 2003. I played bass guitar in

CHRIS was awesome!!! My first lesson was with a guitar that I’d had for years, he fixed the guitar so that I would have something to practice on, whilst he fixed the guitar he didn’t forget why he was there and went over notes and chords etc, After fixing my guitar we had time to go over the gchord and I pretty much had it as he was walking out the door. I’m very pleased!!!

My method is to teach in a way where the student can develop their own style while learning the basics of theory and technique. Depending on the skill level the student is currently comfortable with will determine where we will start. I like to make sure my students understand the first position of the instrument before moving on. We will learn this position by playing songs and developing a unique playing style for the student. From there we will move up the instrument learning about chord progressions and how they are arranged on the instrument.

About Dylan

I am a passionate multi instrumentalist who has played in many musical groups throughout my 29 years. I grew up in a musical house hold where all styles of music were played. I play the Guitar, banjo, piano, bass, and drums. I have a degree in music and a real passion for teaching musicians of all

"Great teach!

Eric is a great teacher. I had taken lessons from someone else several years ago. Eric was immediately able to adjust to my skill level, and pushed me further in just a few weeks than I had ever hoped. He's very patient, yet is always getting me to get better.

He's great, communication-wise. He's even sent me vids, showing me how to tackle problems.

His knowledge is incredible. But the important thing is that he shares what he knows - technique, rock, blues, classics, theory -- it's all there!

Bottom line - if you want to improve, Eric's your only choice."

"Highly Recommended

I've taken classes with Nick in a group setting (at Jalopy) and privately, and while I studied guitar as a kid and trombone in school, and I've never had a better music teacher. And I do mean music teacher, not just guitar teacher - Nick's approach is to start with the MUSIC you want to play, not just the guitar as a collection of strings and frets or a series of fingerings to memorize. He's realistic about where people are starting and how much time and energy they have to devote to the instrument with all else happening in their lives (school, work, family, whatever), but he really wants all his students to get better, to learn and progress and love the music like he does, and leads by example of his own musicianship and dedication to the art form. Highly recommended for all levels, all styles."

"Albert's lessons have really stuck with me--I give him credit for helping me achieve really all of my musical goals. I've played out, been in a rock band, and started writing music, and a ton of that goes back to things I picked up from Albert.

He really tailors the lessons to what you are trying to accomplish. I would recommend Albert to anyone learning guitar."
