I like to show my students how the guitar can be a small orchestra. The possibilities of sounds and colors that it can provide is unknown to other instruments and that is what makes it so great. Unlike the piano where a small hammer hits the strings or the violin where the bow frictions them, we have to produce the entire sound on the guitar with our own hands. The process is more personal and, even though it can be harsh at times, it is always satisfying. I also try to bring a more creative part of music when studying the instrument, which keeps classes more dynamic and interesting. I bring my own experiences so that the students can relate in different levels of difficulty.
About Hugo
I'm a professional guitarist, composer and arranger. I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Diploma in Professional Music. I started playing electric guitar and then expanded also to the classical guitar, which has broaden extensively my approach to different styles of music. Each styl

Amazing teacher! Excellent teaching skills..He`s patient and takes sufficient time on a subject and makes sure you have learned the right techniques. I would highly recommend him!"

Brian has been my daughters instructor for about 7 months now - she looks forward to her lessons and is making great progress. Brian is a patient instructor who keeps the material at the students level. His studio is clean and very professional."

My sons are learning so much in a short amount of time! Evan makes learning music so much fun. They say he's the best teacher they've had so far! I have to agree. He's an all around nice guy who is down to earth and amazingly talented."

I am older than your average student. I had never taken lessons before and always wanted to learn to play guitar so I went out an purchased an acoustic guitar. I tried to learn from on line as well as purchased DVD's but it just didn't feel right. There was something missing like the human touch. I had heard about Paul from a relative who gave me insight about his background and his education. I decided to give him a try.
I called the place that he was working at and booked my first lesson. He carefully went over how he was going to teach me and then patiently worked with me.
I know that I will never be as good as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck or Paul William, but to know that I can play a little is very gratifying."
