I can teach beginner piano and up to about a basic level! I have been playing for about 15 years and I know a lot about the theory and background of music! Every student that begins at the beginning level with me will be required to purchase a $10 piano book.

30 years of experience with teaching privately, in the classroom and with choirs. I have had students in all levels of ability and experience I have had students from 5 to 80. Never too young or old to ENJOY MUSIC! I use a variety of different materials no course of study works for every student. Further goal discussion and assessment is ongoing.

I've been playing piano for over 25 years and teaching piano for over 10. I use a wide variety of piano methods to fit the individual needs of all my students. Students will learn how to properly care for their instrument, how to read music, music theory, instrument technique, practice techniques, ear training (how to play by ear), and repertoire. I even have my own experimental piano courses that I have developed myself. Group piano lessons are also available at a lower cost on Saturdays only.

Teaching Beginning To Intermediate Piano Is My Specialty.. Been Playing & Performing For 35 years now!

Beginning Piano is just plain fun. I love to teach it and see my students learn, play and grow..

I've had the opportunity to work with people as young as three and as old as 62. But as far as piano goes I've had mostly students in the Pre-K and early Elementary age range. My piano lessons are fun, engaging and comprehensive. I don't use one method, but have studied many methods, developed my own and customize lessons to best fit the student. My goal isn't just to impart information about music or technique, my goal is to help my students develop within themselves a living musicality that will be with them throughout their whole lives, no matter what they choose to do with their practice.

My name is Maggie and I'm a piano teacher. I have been teaching private piano lessons for 10 years. I focus on students' fundamental skills such as finger technic, sight reading, and ear training. I also incorporate music theory during the piano lesson so students also understand why the music sounds beautiful.
