I teach piano in the same manner in which I teach every instrument. First I teach students the rudiments of the instrument. Also I teach them how to read and a bit of music theory. From that point I like to follow the students lead. They bring in songs that they would like to learn, or possibly how to play a certain style like Funk, or Blues, or how to approach a classical sonata. At every point I try to point out general aspects of music that need to be learned from the material that they choose.

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

I asked my 10 year old son what rating I should give Dr. Wang and he said "5 stars". She is very patient and friendly when teaching my son who is a bit shy. She has chosen songs that are fun that he enjoys playing, and I never hear a complaint about going to lessons. She is helpful with all aspects of learning to play the piano, and I have noticed his playing becoming more personal rather than simply following notes."

Thank you"
