I took painting lessons about 10 years ago and haven’t done anything since. I brought a 1/2 finished painting. Maggie was great helping me set up and seeing where I was and what I remembered. Then showed me some techniques to help get me going. I’m looking forward to our next lesson.

Maggie is a talented instructor. Helped me tremendously with oil paint color mixing and matching.

Maggie is an exceptional teacher who has her classroom management skills down to a tee. It’s amazing to watch her command a classroom full of children while remaining sweet and never losing her cool. She was a great mentor and I learned a lot about art education from her!

I have been a professional oil painter for 36 years and have taught oil and acrylic painting classes fro over a decade. I teach a casual, fun but serious style class. My goal is to teach the basics of creating a simple strong painting in a semi realistic style. However, my goal is to allow the student to develop their own individual style. Understanding the creative process is also key to making good art.

About Daniel

My name is Dan. The only thing that I love more than painting is teaching students how to paint. I call my teaching method, "serious play". In other words, I want the students to learn something of value during each class, but also to enjoy the creative process that is key to making a successful p

Keep the brushes wet, make every stroke count! Very patient - you’ve just got to do it. Been invaluable in guiding the composition - he can’t hold the brush for you! For a “left brained” person like myself I need to get the “slap”!😄

Terrible! Missed an appointment, limited knowledge, poor teaching skills. Would avoid..

I've been doing water color painting for years and would love to help you.

For the basics of watercolor you'll learn color theory, how to use paint brushes, techniques etc. The beginner lessons are more organized lessons and structured to go over the basics.

But, the more advanced is where you come to me with what you'd like to paint, and I'll give you techniques and tips on your projects.

About Lily

I've been sewing since I was 13. I've sewn things over the years such as dresses, pajamas. I do a lot of tailoring things too. I just love to sew, and I love teaching people to sew too! The way that I teach is to help the student develop their own style. I have students work on their own indivi

Though I haven't done this 1:1, I have taken a group class with Eli and he's an excellent teacher. Lessons are well planned and yet also have spontaneity. He articulates the lesson of the day well, gives rich assignments, and then comments on your work in a supportive way that gives you a lot to continue to work on.

So my son is having a great time with Jason who has a great way of giving feedback and steering Cody using a balance of instructions and positive feedback.
