I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of their instrument and theory skills. I specialize in all styles. Typically, I use a variety of method books to pick from to meet the needs of the students. I also have many tools available to use during lessons.
My students have gone on to NYSSMA and on to college auditions successfully!

I have been teaching private lessons since 2008, but have been studying music since I was only 4 with non stop private and in school lessons. I now have my Bachelor's degree in Music education and am working toward my Masters in Music performance and Instruction. I love working with my students.

I’ve only done 3 sessions so far and can’t wait to see my progress with 5 more lessons to go. Great guy on top of it:). I highly recommend Trevor to anyone.

Throughout my time at Berklee, NEC, and now Juilliard, I have studied with many great teachers and musicians from Wynton Marsalis, Eddie Henderson, Kenny Barron, Tiger Okoshi, John McNeil, and Laurie Frink to Jerry Bergonzi, and Miguel Zenon. The diverse subjects we went over in lessons and classes gives me a unique knowledge of certain styles and musical ideas. I try to be as personal and individual as I can when it comes to teaching students. That was the thing that stood out amongst my favorite teachers.
