I have taught or been a teaching assistant for several web development courses at universities, including a course in client-side web programming with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. More than half the course focused on JavaScript. It started with students programming several basic JavaScript programs (using loops, arrays, strings, etc.), and later writing JavaScript programs involving user input validation, event handling, and even creating a drawing program. I will teach you the programming concepts as well as walk through coding examples. Boost your confidence in web design and programming by scheduling a one-on-one lesson with me!

About Kristy

I hold a Ph.D in Computer Science and MS degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics. As a university professor and lecturer, I have taught several courses in computer science, computer programming, web development, event-driven programming, data structures, algorithms, and discrete mathematics at

Software Engineer with 4-5 years of professional experience in Java. I have studied computer science with my foundation in Java. I love investing my time in teaching. I have been an assistant professor for many Java courses at Rutgers both beginner and intermediate difficulty. I am very open and transparent in how the student wants to learn.

About Pranav

I am a software engineer working professionally for 4.5 years in the industry. My goal from my classes will be that you should be able to code and program regardless of the programming language. I am proficient in Java, Javascript and some C/Python. I can start with either and we can build up. I g

I started my teaching career in college to help pay the bills, but soon discovered a passion for educating. My formal education is part business and part engineering, and as a result I view the software engineer not as just a programmer. The software engineer is a professional with an understanding of the business, an intimate understanding of the technology, and the knowledge to leverage technology to benefit the business. It is my reward in life to make a living sharing the knowledge and experience that I carefully honed over the years, to help my students improve in their abilities and, reach their academic goals.

About Major

I specialize in full stack web application development. While at Duo Security, a leader in leader in multi-factor authentication, I wrote integrations for third party applications to use a two-factor cloud service. I founded MS3.llc where I built tools for predicting the profitability of products p

The reason why I hired Major for tutoring is that he is not only a good software engineer but also a great communicator. As a university student preparing for a software developer job after graduation, I needed to build a solid project with the latest technology as well as practice how to explain the code and its algorithm concisely and accurately. With his solid experience as a software engineer, he knows the best practice to implement features and make use of the latest libraries. With his intelligence and open-minded personality as a person, he will neatly explain the answer to my question with his rich vocabularies.

I attended two group lectures and workshops by Major. I liked them! The pace was quick and we were expected to be strongly focused and to complete several exercises during the session, which ensured we wouldn't absorb knowledge passively. Major was very careful to take comments into account to improve or modify his teaching materials. The lessons started with a high-level overview, which was helpful in putting them into context.

Major is a GREAT instructor! This is my 11-year old son's first attempt with Python (he has been doing Scratch) and Major does a great job engaging with him and adjusting as they go to give my son a great experience. He has also been patient with some of our tech issues (thank you Major)

JavaScript is the programming language of the Web. I teach this alongside PHP and HTML so that students can learn the fundamentals of Web programming. JavaScript is a quirky language, but I will teach best practices so students will learn to write JavaScript correctly.

Simply he was well informed and very knowledgeable with PHP and programming in general.

I've been taking lessons from Jason for a month or two now and I can definitely say that I have gained a lot more knowledge and experience working with him than I would have working on code myself. He knows when to help and when to have hands off which is extremely important when learning how to program. It definitely helps when it comes to actually learning how to do it myself instead of having someone do it for me. Have some patience going into it because programming isn't as simple as some would believe especially if you're trying to understand it. So if you want to learn how to program or need help with something he's definitely the guy.

We even went way over what I initially wanted to learn; he is very experienced and has impressive knowledge in front and back-end development. I have been trying to learn JavaScript by myself for a while but always ended up abandoning. I am confident that I will achieve my goals with the help of Jason.
