My Name is Jordan,I love teaching! I teach virtually all genres of music on the guitar be it electric or acoustic.I teach my students based on there needs and goals and take them in the direction they want to go,I can help you to reach an advanced level efficiently and can show you how to minimalize the frustration a lot of students experience when practicing.I'm very patient and no matter how much talent you think you do or don't have,I know that with the right approach you can reach your goals on the guitar :)

About Jordan

I have two sons that have been taking lessons with Jordan for 10 months. He is teaching both my sons, one the guitar and the other piano. I have used one previous instructor from takelessons.com for piano lessons and he was good. However, Jordan does not constantly reschedule lessons and I can see more progress in how fast my son is learning and his enthusiasm to learn. I am happy I switched my son who plays the piano to Jordan, whom was already teaching my other son guitar.

Key Points:
Jordan, is good at assessing a student’s abilities and interests and adjusting his lessons accordingly

He makes the lessons fun and challenging.

He has gone out of his way to learn about my sons and their interests, so when they were introduced to guitar and piano, they were able to learn and play music that they already enjoyed listening to

He is a gifted musician but also highly skilled at teaching. He works well with families and has a flexible schedule.

He is fair but firm with students

The highlight for me was hearing my sons have a jam session together

Jordan has a wonderful ability to relate to people. He has excellent skill and enthusiasm, making my sons WANT to learn.

I would highly recommend him as a teacher.
Steve
Jordan is amazing, he can just learn a song by ear the first time he hears it, I’ve been working with him for a little over a year and I never thought I’d be able to do that, but my ear has really started to develop. He always offers positive critique, never negative and always patient!!
Sophia
Jordan is a good teacher. Talented. Patient. Smart.
My daughter responded well to him.

Eric's creative intelligence and technical skills are undeniable. Both qualities make him the perfect instructor. Additional, Eric harbors a wonderfully friendly and approachable personality that make his lessons FUN. He rocks hard and has the track record to prove it.

I started taking lessons with Eric several months ago. From day one he was able to help identify goals for my practice and structure lessons around helping me achieve them. He's extremely patient and conducts a very balanced and personal lesson. It's the right mix of creative freedom and structure, which has helped me gain some confidence at the keyboard. Any pianist would be lucky to study with him!
Brian T.
Eric is an incredible teacher and player -- from technique to creativity to breadth of knowledge about the theory and limitless improvisational possiblities, he really has it all. Would recommend him to anyone.

Perfect for beginners looking for a teacher to get them off the ground, but also perfect for advanced players looking to refresh their skills or take the next step. Would recommend for jazz, classical, and gospel / pop styles.

Great with kids, great with adults, great guy, definitely book him! :)))

I just finished my third lesson with Taylor. We are doing piano / digital music production hybrid course, but we are starting with learning to read sheet music as we both agree it will be a very useful skill to have down the line when I start doing my own compositions...even if my focus is digital production.

She is a fantastic teacher, explains concepts clearly, and is patient with my slow learning curve. She also very professionally handles student progress notes, and always emails copies of all relevant notes on each lesson for easy review and practice.

I'm very pleased to have started my journey into the world of music with her as my guide. Five stars.

This was my first lesson, so it’’s a little difficult to critique; however, Taylor was patient with me, and ,knowledgeable, interesting and informative. I like that.

The Real Reasons Why You Need To Learn Guitar Scales

Is it really necessary to learn guitar scales? If you'd rather just focus on chords and songs, you're not alone. But here, Austin, TX teacher Samuel B. shares why practicing your scales will ultimately make you a better guitar player down the line... I'm a 25-year veteran of playing the guitar. In seventh grade, I took an introductory class to both the guitar and keyboard, in which I received only a "B" as I pretty much neglected the keyboard altogether. Besides, I'd taken piano lessons …
