Book NowMedical Terminology is a Medical language that Doctors and Practitioners use to identify body parts and organs. In this subject, students will learn the root words, the combining form, the prefixes and the suffixes. This combination is necessary for students to understand the language, to interpret and build their own medical terms. You will learn this combination through me and I will assist you in your homework. Medical Terminology is important in the use of reading Doctors' diagnoses and providing accuracy in Medical Records and coding. A misdiagnosis can lead to a wrong treatment and eventually to a patient's death. Therefore, it is a must that students in Medical field be familiar with Medical Terminology.

Book NowLessons with me are highly interactive. Active learning is what I'm striving for; an engaged student can learn. As many a professor of mine has said, math is not a spectator sport. It is learned by actively engaging with the concepts and the mechanics.
I focus on finding out where the student is in terms of understanding, and meeting them intellectually wherever they may be. A lesson with me is truly where there is no such thing as a dumb question. Understanding why things are the way they are is central to my approach. Understanding is a "force multiplier" that takes a student far beyond mere rote memorization of rules that are otherwise quickly forgotten.
Of course, the goal is to be able to demonstrate understanding, which typically requires being able to solve problems. Once understanding of a concept seems to be emerging, I am happy to help guide the student through a variety of exercises to give the student the confidence that they "really get it", and can work ...
About Andrew
I am both experienced and patient as a teacher. I have clear memories of what it was like to learn new things for the first time in math, and so I empathize with the student who may be wrestling with new and different ideas. I began teaching back in college in the early 1980s, when I was a teachi

Precalculus sounds intimidating, but it is actually algebra 3. I’ve tutored many high school students, college students, and university students in core concepts like functions, graphing functions, trigonometry, and an introduction to calculus. I also walk students through a complete algebra review if they need to refresh their knowledge or have difficult concepts re-explained. For those preparing for calculus, I show them its connection to precalculus and why it is so critical for them to really understand and remember these concepts. Another course I am familiar with is advanced math, which is precalculus with trigonometry.
About Natalie
During the past 10 years, my goal as a tutor has been steadfast: I want to help you help yourself. As the saying goes, you have to be open to accepting help before you can be helped. I understand that because we are all students our entire lives; I know from my own experience how hard it is to lear

Another thing worth mentioning is Colin's passionate approach to teaching. He would always go about each lesson with unmistakable enthusiasm, showing that even calculus could be fun, if you were willing to see it as so. He was also always willing to go all the way with any problem, even if it went over the time limit; he wanted to make sure that I had no questions or concerns about any topic, no matter how complex it might have been. So, all in all, if you are looking for a suitable calculus tutor, Colin is certainly a very worthy option!"

Kids who love to write may be off and running once the pen hits their hand, but other children might not feel comfortable writing unless given a few creative writing prompts. Creative prompts encourage imagination and provide a jumping off point for journal entries and stories. Even children who love to write may find it easier to work from a prompt because it gives them an area of focus - and it's fun! As a parent, one of the best ways to encourage your child's love of the written word is to pr …
