I have been a music teacher for over 20 years and teach students from age 5 and up for both piano and voice. I am a certified ABRSM instructor and I have prepared many students for ABRSM exams both Practical and Theory through Level 8 in both singing and piano performance. I have also prepared many students for the NFMC Annual Festivals. Many of my students have become performing artists, won talent shows, received music awards with distinction, performed in Broadway shows and other plays internationally, and many were awarded college scholarships for music. I’d like to believe I inspire a love for music through my own passion for it. Taking lessons should be fun but we must also agree that it takes hard work and dedication to become a talented musician.

About Alla

Hello, my name is Alla . Age of 5 I was start taking piano classes, which I don’t likes ,bc all my friends played outside while I’m supposed to practice piano. Only patience of my teacher, her crazy love of music give me such a privilege opportunity to play and feel music. My goal is present mus

Ms. Alla has been such an amazing teacher for my son. In the past, I had to change multiple teachers as I found it challenging to keep my 11 year old son engaged and motivated to focus on his piano skills. Having found Ms. Alla, she provided Armaan the discipline he needed to stay on the course. Ms. Alla is a wonderful person and I love how she puts her heart and soul into her students and her teaching. I'm so excited to have found her for my son and I hope he can successfully pass the ABRSM Grade 1 exam under Ms. Alla's direction.

Ms. Alla is teaching my elder son classical piano for about two years now. She is the finest teacher my son can get. She does not only focus on piano lessons but also the aesthetics like seating posture, hand position etc. I will highly recommend Ms. Alla if anyone is interested to learn serious piano with strong foundation. Her teachings will stay for life.

Teacher provides clear details on the lesson. Even though it is online Alla gained the confidence in my child to continue with learning music, and looking forward for every lesson! There is a specific part of a lesson provides on theory and actually understanding musical
Notes and another part is playing which helped my daughter to work out her kinks .
Alla’s personality helps to feel warm and want to learn more. She brings fun to the virtual learning and continues to teach all important things for my 8 year old. My daughter is learning more now than she did in person with a group! I highly recommend Alla for your next virtual music learning experience . It is very important to have balanced the lesson to cover notes , theory , and technical and I feel Alla provides that every time for my child at each lesson with so much fun, and ease!

Very happy with Noah. My son had taken guitar lessons from another private teacher for 7 years. The classes are pleasant, well structured, organized and tailored to student's skill and interest. I really expect to see my son make continued progress with Noah.

Reading of music and basic piano technique are emphasized, incorporating aspects of music theory and musicality.

About Kathryn

Kathy believes that variety is the spice of not only life, but also music. Raised singing folk music with a musical family (think accordions, guitars and lots of vocal harmonies), she learned guitar and piano at an early age, but began singing even earlier. Her quest to give the world the best

My experience with Kathy has been great. It's been roughly five months and I learned a lot and I'm also much more confident to sing. Learning the right techniques is crucial. Kathy is extremely patient and she adapts the classes to the student goals and aspirations. English is not my first language and she was also always very respectful and patient in explaining everything twice or maybe three times until I get it.

Terrible. Only taught 30 minutes out of 60 minute sessions. On the 3 session I mentioned it and he said he didn’t think my son needed more than that even though we paid for it. Was so disrespectful!!!! Never again!!! Highly unprofessional when asked about why he cut the lessons short. Please don’t leave your kids with this instructor work paying attention. He will get over on you if he thinks you’re not involved.

"Ryan is my daughter’s piano teacher, and she looks forward to her lessons every week with him. She is 10 years old. He focuses on ear training, and site reading with note recognition, as well as rhythms and time signature, but he really delves deeply into the theory of music with her, something not all piano teachers would do with the 10-year-old. When she joined a band at school, we found out that she truly understands the structure of the key signature, and how to count out 16th notes!! Very impressive :-). Feel free to contact me anytime for further questions, I would give him my highest recommendation."

"If you’re serious about learning to play piano and willing to put in the work, I honestly cannot think of a better instructor than James. His teaching methodology is creative, fun, yet challenging catapulting students to higher proficiency levels than typically possible with more traditional teaching methods. My 11 year old learning from James is quickly surpassing other kids with many more years of lessons studying other dated, traditional approaches.

James has played for some well known professional acts during his career in multiple music genres (including a presidencial election ceremony)...point being he’s been on the big stage and has reached a level most only dream about. Yet he continues to follow his true passion which is helping others learn and reach their own individual musical aspirations.

In short, James is your guy...look no further."

"I'm a self taught player but I couldn't figure out how to play solos, and I never understood jazz concepts to be able to play it. After my first lesson, Johnathon gave me many fundamental points to begin to understand performing a solo. In order to move forward, I need to move backwards and master fundamental techniques. Johnathon was focused, detailed, and clearly communicated the points he was explaining to me. He laid out a detailed plan of what to practice, and I was very happy with my first lesson!"
