About Itai
Itai graduated from SUNY Purchase with a BA in Studio Composition in 2007, and from Hebrew College with a Masters' Degree in Jewish Education in June, 2016. He has been working in after-school, Hebrew school, camp, and other supplementary educational settings for over ten years. Itai's Hebrew students are either studying for their bnei mitzvah, maintaining their conversational Hebrew, or learning for the purpose of competence of services or Torah study. His piano students have ranged from five-year olds just starting, to young children learning Classical pieces, to teens learning to play the songs they like, to adults working on their songwriting and improvisation. Lessons will accommodate the student's goals. Itai's strengths are improvisation, music theory and ear training, and accompaniment of popular songs - rock, theater, pop, folk,
etc. As a musician, Itai writes songs, composes music for communal singing, improvises, and plays in a Klezmer band. Aside from tutoring, Itai works as a songleader, teaches at the Hebrew school at his synagogue, growing a new outdoor Hebrew school, and occasionally teaches at an outdoor education program.

This first class was great. We had some small problems with the camera and voice, but that had nothing to do with Itai. My son was excited when class was over. He is looking forward to his next lesson.

Palig is truly an exceptional teacher. It's evident that she genuinely cares that each of her students excel. She has a strong academic background from Wellesley College and has experience tutoring recently through private tutoring as well as through her experience at Huntington Tutoring and Learning Center, as well as through Mission Hill After School Program. Her experience in this field without a doubt distinguishes her from other tutors. I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a tutor in these subject areas.

I've worked with Palig for several months now as part of Boston Junior Derby. She has been teaching our very introductory roller skating course.

She is incredibly patient with girls of all ages, and breaks down skater mechanics in a very clear and concise way. The kids love her and tell all of the other coaches all the time that she's their favorite. #nottakingitpersonally

We're so excited to have her as a coach in the Spring!

Aurora is super nice, fun, patient, and knowledgeable. She was extremely understanding when I was late to my lesson and still taught me for the full hour. I learned a lot even at my very first lesson with her. Would highly recommend her as a singing teacher!

I've been tutoring for 10+ years. I got an 800 in GRE Math (similar to SAT/GMAT Math...).

I specialize in teaching MATH for all standardized test prep: SAT/GMAT/USMLE/ACT Math... I can teach Math at any level (elementary, middle, high school, university) and of any kind: pre-calculus, calculus, algebra, trigonometry... I can also teach any course in physics, computer science, or electrical/computer engineering at any level (I have a PhD in Computer Science from Dartmouth).

UNIQUE DATA-DRIVEN APPROACH: I have a unique data-driven teaching concept: Instead of simply teaching the student math, I focus on identifying the conceptual problems with the student's understanding to figure out how to maximize improvements over a short period of time. I routinely provide student's take home questions customized to their needs to figure out which pr
oblems they are still having issues with. By looking at the pattern of progress over time, it is possible to address weaknesses systematically instead of the haphazard approach of answering questions as they come.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEE: If for any reason, you do not find the session helpful, I will give you a "full" refund (P.S. Has never happened before!).

QUALIFICATIONS:
PhD in Computer Science from an Ivy league (Dartmouth)
Masters in Biomedical Engineering from an Ivy league (Dartmouth)
BSc in Electrical Engineering
