I've been playing piano since I was 5 years old. I've been playing professionally since I was 16 and can cover many styles of music. Berklee College of Music graduate.
I really love teaching and try to incorporate new techniques and technologies into my lesson. It comes down to getting to know you and making the lessons relevant to you.

I teach general piano lessons since 2010.With every new student our mutual journey into the world of music begins from the very basic stage; we begin with discussing student's proper sitting position at the instrument, basic introduction sessions on the general buildup of the instrument, its keyboard layout, and proceed, gradually, to the notation symbols on the music staff introduction to the student. Through the diligent preliminary talk we will discuss various aspects of interest that my students have developed in relation to playing piano, so we could plan and design our future lessons according to an initial discussion. My job and responsibility will be to make an intelligent assessment of my students' natural abilities for the given subject of study, to create vigorous learning atmosphere during our meetings, and to give my students professional instructions to the best of my humble abilities, for the benefits of their musical , aesthetic, and personal development. I will ...

Overall, he's a really nice guy with a patient, calm, yet enthusiastic disposition, who is clearly very experienced in music and life in general. I'm an extremely nervous person and it usually takes me a long time to relax around a new person, but he's really chill and I felt pretty comfortable within a few minutes of talking.
I went into my first lesson frankly pretty terrified, and with almost no direction, and I left feeling uplifted with a clear path for pursuing music. The lesson exceeded my expectations by far, I would recommend him to anyone.

Hello! I have been teaching piano for 6 years and I specialize in the elementary and intermediate levels of the instrument. I have taught piano students ranging from 5 - 65 years of age and have also worked with students with learning disabilities. My piano lessons are tailored to each individual student's needs and interests. Once my piano students learn their fundamentals, we explore music the student shows interest in. Students will learn how to construct a personal practice routine, will learn basic music theory, will frequently sight-read, and much more.
A little about me: I began private piano lessons at age 5 and continued lessons until age 16. I began teaching piano privately during my undergraduate studies and currently teach online and in-person music lessons in the DC Metro area.
About Victoria
I am an experienced piano and French horn teacher of 6 years based in the D.C. Metro area, specializing in the elementary and intermediate levels of both instruments. I have worked with students ranging from 5 - 65 years of age and have also taught students with learning and physical disabilities.
