My first lesson with Jeehoon was great. He's a very engaging instructor that made the lesson enjoyable with much laughter. I feel like his teaching style will help me to grasp Korean better than I have with other teachers thus far. I am very hopeful to progress towards my goals quicker and more efficiently.

As an educator I have high expectations. I have tried two other tutors in the hopes of finding a tutor that would fit me. While the other tutors were very polite and comfortable to work with, Jeehoon exceeded my expectations. Jeehoon was prompt, organized, knowledgeable, and very comfortable to work with. He also has a great personality and sense of humor which helps to relax the student fostering a learning environment. I learned the most with him in one lesson than the other two lessons from my other tutors combined. If you truly want to learn Korean Language in a thorough manner, this is the tutor to work with. I am excited and look forward to my future sessions with Jeehoon.

I came to USA at age of 15 and learned English in Mid-West most of my life. I love using idioms in both language. In Korean up-to-dated direct translation of "you're welcome" is "what?" why? because they meant "oh no what are you talking about? don't mention it"
Let's learn the language while having fun. Take a lesson from me.

About Johan
Johan here and I love music! Nice to meet you fellow music lover.

I have been involved in music since I was just a child. It started with learning piano, then guitar, ukulele, mandolin, harmonica, djembe and so many more.

I’ve continued to learn and perfect my craft by being apart of different types of bands from small to large with varying genres of music. I also formalized my music education with a bachelor of Art in Music. Did I mention I’m also quite a harmonizer? Sign up today and maybe I’ll throw in some tips with your instrument lesson.

Johan is great with kids! My son is a very active child, and he was able to make the lesson fun and engaging. More than that, I enjoyed seeing Johan be creative, listen to the child, and make music fun, more than being it a lesson (per say). I highly recommend Johan!

I have taught English to Koreans back in Seoul for more than 8 years, so I know exactly how different these two languages are.

Based on this understanding of how I need to approach non-Korean speaker especially whose mother tongue is English, I am confident that I can let you start studying Korean the easiest way and make the class fun with lots of introduction of Korean cultures and history.

About Suyoun
Hello! My name is Sue and I've been teaching English to Koreans, Koreans to English speakers since 2007.
From this long experience, I learned how different and opposite these 2 languages are, so I can teach my student how to learn this beautiful Korean language the most efficient way and fun.

How can I make the classes fun? Along with language classes, I will share lots of Korean culture and history, so the students have always interest in the Korean culture. Once you are interested in that culture, it will be inevitable not to learn the language! Always remember! Language and Culture. These are 2 things that never be separated.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Sue is the best 선생님!! I contacted her for Korean lessons this summer and she responded immediately and was able to accommodate my time schedule. She’s a very patient and kind teacher and person. I had the hardest time with pronunciation and she was able to help me really hear how the words were supposed to be pronounced and made me feel more confident. She made every lesson fun and enjoyable — every teacher should be like her.

I will be your encouraging teacher. I am looking forward to meeting you & helping you to develop your Korean skills.

안녕하세요! Korean will make more sense when you understand the culture.
YES, we will explore different situations where a Korean phrase might fit.
YES, we will share Korean memes to get colloquial.
YES, we will get practice intonation using effective scatting method. (Ask me about the scatting method)

I am learning Mandarin myself. 24 years old but really an AH-JUM-MA at heart.

About Heyinn
I am probably one of the bubbliest people you'll ever meet.

I graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelors in Materials Science and Engineering. My desire to serve and promote progress shines through the most when there's a learning opportunity for both parties.

Fun fact: my mom is a traditional Korean instrumentalist (plus Korean fan dance)
She influenced me in creativity.

Korean language students can quickly access authentic learning materials. The pronunciation will be enhanced through my own technique called "scatting sound method". The method was developed from my own observation of the language and my love for teaching my friends Korean.

Dance is liberating if you can master a few movements to own for yourself. When I struggled with eating disorder, dance helped me cope with anxiety. Throughout college, I independently studied
a particular dance called waacking and k-pop. As a result, I have accumulated know-hows through experiment.

As a professional engineer, my goal is to help realize what it means to be efficient learner. If it takes a tweak in system, pedagogy, or communication to help you unlock for yourself a Korean tongue or a freestyle dance soul, I am here to hear your story and cooperate.
