Book NowAfter Teaching voice for the past few years it's clear that one thing is universal no matter what kind of singer you are: It takes an impressive amount of courage and self awareness to be heard through song. The Voice is one of the highest form of emotional expression, taking the whole body; as the whole body is the instrument. In these lessons we will focus on breath, bring attention to tension, support, and placement of the voice. Giving you the freedom to be heard. I'm excited to work together with you to find your voice.
"The best singers are relaxed in performance. That is they have no extraneous tension. Their muscles are ready to receive the impulse necessary to fulfill action and will ripple with energy."

For the past 5 years I have been teaching cello to beginner and intermediate students of all ages. I started playing when I was 15 years old, so my experience learning the fundamentals of playing cello are still fresh in my mind. This gives me an edge in my teaching when introducing the instrument to my students. I am a member of the Lone Star Philharmonic Orchestra and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Cello from Texas State University. I can help you learn not only how to play the cello, but can ensure that you have a strong handle of the basic fundamentals, note reading, and music theory as well!

Thomas worked as an instructor for Piano Keys 4 Kids from September 2013 to June 2014. As the owner of Piano Keys 4 Kids, I assigned Thomas with duties as an instructor in an after school enrichment program in several public elementary schools. Specifically, Thomas taught children in grades K-3 the basic fundamentals of the piano using a curriculum developed by Piano Keys 4 Kids. His group class time was approximately 1 hour in length. Based on his college class schedule he accepted as many school assignments as possible.
Over the time that I have known Thomas he has consistently performed his duties with competence. Thomas was not only reliable in attending every class he was assigned, but very prompt in delivering an update on the progress of his classes.
With the depth of Thomas' musical skills, he can be an outstanding piano teacher in both the private and group setting.
While Thomas leaving our company to attend graduate school is a loss to us, I have every confidence that Thomas will thrive in graduate studies as well as in his music instructor endeavors. Thomas is an intelligent and committed individual."
